With a 2 pack and all locks keyed alike, it makes it easy to keep a single key on me while having a spare for a family member or stash in my bag. On the road they perform as expected. The locks are tiny and light, about 1 inch square and less than an inch thick, so they don’t crowd the zipper pulls. The dimple key system feels solid and smooth in and out, and there’s no fiddling with a combo during busy travel moments. I appreciated the light weight and straightforward use. What stood out was the build. The alloy body and hardened steel tumbler give a real sense of durability, and the claim about being rugged stands up to everyday bumps. Having the keys keyed alike to fit every lock in the pack was a real convenience; the fact that the keys can’t be duplicated in stores adds a layer of security I didn’t expect to notice during normal travel. Looked at various TSA approved travel locks (mostly combination type locks) before buying these Forge locks. I was not familiar with the Forge brand but these are sturdy, good-quality locks and less-bulky than the combination types, and the two-pack pricing was very good. Subsequently purchased a second set of these and on a recent trip involving 4 flights these locks performed perfectly.
