Review: paid $120 and not sure it's worth even that much... - When I purchased this item it was $120. For that price I think it was a decent deal. I see it has gone up to $300 which we think is ridiculous. For $300 you can get a classy daybed from world market or another nice store. This only accommodates 33" mattresses in cot size (usually more expensive than standard size twin). The sheets are also specialty size and more expensive and colors are limited. There is also no trundle that will fit under it that I've been able to find. I bought it thinking a more compact daybed would be a good idea for our small office are, but it is more trouble than a standard daybed. Most importantly, I have read a number of reviews of this bed (read reviews of the different sizes by same maker) collapsing with one person's weight on it. There isn't much holding the base up. We don't feel its safe to let pets under there so we disassembled it and put it in storage until we can figure out how to reinforce it. Review: One Star - Because a normal trundel/daybed mattress won't fit this daybed.
