LUCID 2 Inch Dunlop Latex Mattress Topper, King

It's a bit more firm than I expected but I like it. I bought a memory foam topper and disliked everything about it. This Latex topper is so much better for you and your health. No bad smell. It's supportive even though it's only two inches thick. I have mine underneath my mattress cover so I can't say if this holds heat or is cooling. It's the perfect temperature for me.

Brand new to mattress toppers but decided it was worth trying. I slept on a tempurpedic bed once a few years back and enjoyed it and have had many friends recommend checking out a more affordable topper. Doing some research is seemed like latex was generally considered a cooler option and I like a cool bed. This manufacturer was cheaper than the alternative brands on amazon and also was shipped by amazon so it has their return policy, although it did not come with two day shipping.The package arrived 7 business days after ordering, shipped by UPS ground. The box was missing the top and a bit of the side but the topper was well wrapped in two layers of heavy plastic so there was no damage or impact to the item itself and since it's just a big piece of foam, there was nothing to break. It's not vacuum sealed so I think I'd be able to repackage it if I wanted to return it.The topper does have a latex smell but it's not overpowering and other reviews say it will dissipate quickly. It fits my queen size mattress perfectly, edge to edge, 5ft by 6.5ft. the air holes, or whatever they are for, are well made and evenly spaced about every 2inches by 1.5inches. there's no damage or discoloration to the foam and it's an even thickness, at a measured 2inches tall.It feels great to lie on, my sheets fit over it no problem. I haven't tried sleeping on it yet but will add to my review after a few nights.

I ordered this as an open box, but new. Unfortunately the description didn't say if this was a soft or firm latex topper. I have a 1 inch soft, and wanted to add another soft to help with my hips because I'm a side sleeper. This one is firm, so I had to put the soft on on top and it's really not helping. All in all a good product at a great price, just wished I knew the firmness level when I purchased it.

We bought this to add on top of a brand new, extra firm mattress. We needed the support of the mattress but it lacked sufficient cushion on top. This Lucid topper was the answer. Lots of research, reading reviews, etc. Latex it was. We have a fitted sheet directly on the mattress, then this topper, then another fitted sheet to keep the topper in place. So far, even with monthly mattress rotation, the topper stays put and requires minimal adjustment between sheet changes. We have been sleeping on this topper full time, on an extra firm mattress, for a few months. Our sleep has improved and we look forward to laying down in bed after a long day, everyday. Fr the price, I definitely recommend this topper. This review is current as of 11-28-23 and I will update it if anything changes.

This is very soft but has a smell to it form being wrapped in plastic. Took a few days for the smell to go away

The topper arrived with some damage to the box - rough handling from UPS. Luckily, the content was well protected and was not damaged. I opened up the package immediately expecting to air it out as my previous experience with latex mattress outgassing. Nicely surprised to find out that there is no outgassing at all.I left it out overnight with some weights to where the topper was badly compressed and rolled up. The topper is very well made and seems to be of high quality. It is on the soft side (I prefer a denser heavier one) but the price is right. This topper offers the best price that I could find on the web. Price to value ratio is very high. If you are looking for some firmer/denser, this may not work for you. Otherwise, it is highly recommended.
