A good deal
I'm not sure why some are wondering if the drives are 1TB or 4TB, I purchased and received 6 drives and they were all the correct size (6TB).Another user mentioned the drives were manufactured in 2016 and therefore weren't new or were refurbished/recertified. As far as I can tell these drives have not been used before. The SMART info shows all 6 of the drives I bought have been powered on for 0 hours. My guess is these drives were purchased originally by an OEM and sat in a warehouse for years before being sold off to this Amazon seller, or perhaps this seller IS that OEM.In any case I'm happy, they are the correct size, they are new, they were cheap, and they have 5 year warranty (assuming this seller sticks around that long).

Absolute scam. Seller reported.
The media could not be loaded. At no point in the listing does it specify used or refurbished. I would have never purchased at this price if it did. Upon opening the box I was greeted with an old HDD in a flimsy, broken plastic case (pictured). The HDD itself is very visibly used, with scratches and scuffs all over the metal where it has been pulled in and out of HDD bays many times (also pictured). My immediate instinct was to run some software on the drive to see how many hours it has been used. I was unable to do this, since the HDD itself is actually broken, and will not show up in disk management (pictured). Upon putting it in a drive bay and plugging it in, it sounds like a loose wheel on a shopping trolley. Incredibly high pitched whirring noises as shown in the video. The video does not do justice to how loud and clunky it actually sounds, but it gives you an idea. A generic disk does show up in device management, but that's all. My drivers are up to date, as is my version of windows. But I'm unable to format the drive in order to get any more information because it's broken and unusable.I have reported the seller, amazon has said it will investigate. All of this has been a complete waste of my time, so I thought I would sink a bit more time into giving a detailed review with pictures and video to warn others, so you don't have to waste your time too.Used 6TB HDD's go for a lot less money than this, and they usually at least function, and come in appropriate packaging. Avoid seller. You have been warned.

Perfect for a heck of a lot of 3D graphics Files
I do a lot of 3D graphics art and due to the size of the multitude of software and the massive collection of DLCs assets scenes yada yada yada I learned real fast 4tb ain’t gonna cut it. This puppy definitely helped! I still have a little over a terabyte left. That should last a while. This was for a good price too! It looked like new when I received it! Packaging was top notch as well! Definitely a good buy!

Listing does not say refurbished or recertified. Drive is not new.
I could not tell if this drive was new or not when I purchased it. I could not see the date of manufacture in the image. I suspected it was not new but the listing included the following: "Buy this product as Renewed and save $9.00 off the current New price." I decided to take a chance with it.The drive was manufactured in 2016 and according to Toshiba's web site, the 5 year warranty ended Sept. 21, 2021The drive could be perfectly fine (I have not taken it out of the anti-static bag). But I do not want to risk my data on a 5+ years old drive. The 5 year warranty on the drive is through the seller.Listings like this should explicitly say "used" or "refurbished" to indicate an item is not new. I am returning this. And as a final touch, Amazon delivered it a day late with no explanation.
