This light is perfect for the corner of our desks. We have a double desk and got 2. There are different settings for brightness. Great quality and value for the money. There are different settings to change the softness of the light and you can turn one side off if needed.

I love this lamp. I use it for reading. It's bright enough, but not harsh; I like the warmest setting. It makes a nice even light all across my work area.When I want to work on the laptop, I just push the vanes down so the light doesn't reflect off the screen, but I still have plenty of diffuse light to see my keyboard.When I go to sleep, I adjust the brightness to the lowest level and fold up the vanes all the way before I turn it off. In the morning when it is still dark, I just turn on the light and it is so dim, it doesn't hurt my eyes, but I can see to find my glasses and other things, and as my eyes adjust, I turn it brighter.I keep it on the warmest light setting, which makes it as pleasant as an incandescent light. There is no flicker at all -- other LED lights I've used have flicker that bothers me, but not this one.I would give it ten stars if there were that many.

Lamp is great, I just wished it could be brighter. I have another LED lamp on my art table and it is brighter than the brightest setting on this lamp. Otherwise, it works as directed. I like the swivel design.

I now have 2 of these. One for my sewing-craft table and one for my desk. I like how you can change the type of light and brightness on one or both arms. Highly recommend it to anyone needing good light for close work.

I bought this lamp for my upright piano and use it every day. I really like it, not only the weight is light, but also it just fits my needs when I play piano at night, the light range is wide enough for me to read music score and the piano keys even I don't any other lights are on in the room. It has 6 different brightness options and also left or right brightness selections. It is using USB and came with a USB hub.
