Brown Rice Flour Mushroom Substrate Grow Bag

All I can say is that I wish I had found this product sooner because it is so easy to use compared to making properly sterilized brf bags yourself! (in my opinion of course)Sure, some people out there are absolute artists when it comes to their sterilization process. Some people have no problem making up a dozen bags or jars of brf without so much as a indication of contamination in their substrate!I do not consider myself to be one of those people as I have had many a frustrating failures while trying to successfully sterilize my brf substrate. From jars breaking in my canner, to jars getting over saturated, to bags not sealing properly, I've done just about it all.Not to mention the times where I thought everything went awesome in the sterilization process then I end up with a bunch of bad batches of green mold or cobweb mold.However, with this product while growing my oyster mushrooms Ive successfully inoculated and fruited 8 bags without any issues!For 2 I used just a spore syringe and the other 6 I used a liquid culture. Typically if the brf substrate or LC isn't 100% contam free, you'll find out really quickly. In this case I've had nothing but success!Thank you Out-Grow!:)

Every time I have ordered this product it has arrived at my house in a timely fashion. Even when USPS left my package in extreme heat, allowing some of my bags to dry out, I asked on my last order to send me the most moist brf bags in their inventory and outgrow replaced the bags that usps neglected. They didn't have to do this. These guys have great customer service and I will definitely continue to do business with them.When you look at the negative reviews for this products keep in mind a lot of these mishaps could be due to inexperience. Growing mushrooms requires a lot of patience. I have seen it take up to 3 and a half weeks before I've seen signs of colonization in grow bags. One should keep this in mind, before throwing away their bags. Just follow the instructions given with these bags, have some patience because this product will do you solid!

I am a beginner but I studied everything I could before buying. I injected the substrate with mushroom juice and placed in a warmish environment protected from too much light or temperature extremes. After many months, I had a smooth white coating after one month, but after two more months, no mushrooms bloomed. For me, the worst part was that along the way when I had questions and reached out to the company, no one ever responded, and I tried multiple times. Maybe there was some simple tweak I could have done? I cannot understand why they would not answer simple questions, it might have saved this project/experiment. Shipping costs as much as the bag too, and it's not covered under Amazon prime. I'm disappointed and feel like I wasted $30 and about of time and effort.

would of put 5 stars because I have bought these bags in the past and they work awesome I ordered 5 more a few days ago; so it said it was delivered but it was a LIE!! They are not here I'm waiting to hear back from the seller because I need these bags before my Lion's main spores expire I don't want a refund I want the bags. Anyway its a bit more substrate than jars so it takes a little longer to see growth but don't worry it will come. if its over two weeks before growth starts to show then start to worry, 3-4 weeks And something went wrong. They work great growing in the bag or taking the patty out when its fully colonized and growing it like jars (I did that once thew the empty crumb scattered bag under my sofa was cleaning a few months later and found the empty bag looked inside and every left over crumb grew a mushroom it was awesome) . I bought 5 so I could try a bulk but they never came in really disappointing. If the seller can get my bags I bought to me in a few days I'll give them five stars if not then 3 it will be.*****UPDATESo the seller emailed me and is currently sending new bags free of charge if they come I will disregard the first part of my review and they will just be great bags

These are great. They're bigger than half pint jars. These are bigger than the fruits I have going on hpoo and coir! Mike Wiberg, homie your name popped in my head the other day when I was harvesting. I instantly knew where I knew it from and that you should get a good review. In sure you understand LMAO. You're doing something right in those bags. Ill be getting some more.

I bought four bags and the first thing I noticed was the product was really dry. I inoculated two bags with a spore syringe of golden teacher. Despite the bags being small, I used 5 cc because of the dryness of the Product. A week or so later noticed contamination before the bags even colonized by 10%I’m giving two stars because I haven’t tried the other two bags yet maybe they’re good.

So, I've always bought from outgrow. Everything I get is 100% contamination free. Anyways, first thing I want to say about this bag is "amazing" came here fast. Boxing was good and it was perfect size for my mushrooms. Only thing was bad about it was, the BRF was packed too tight. I couldn't brake it up. Besides that it was really good. I just ordered more things off of them. Hopefully it comes from UPS. Because the UPS chick is good looking. He he he anyways thank you outgrow you will always have my business
