Update 04/28/2022.I received communication from the seller. Everything is resolved. The seller even ensure that the new updated design will resolve the problem. The seller really go extra steps to enure customer satisfaction!Original Post: I bought this to take to my kid's fishing trip. Item arrived without package box. It's just shipping label on the orginal retail box. When I open the box, the reel in the blue fishing rod fell off. I tried to re-attached and try to fish. The reel won't retract. It's defective! I didn't even want to try the pink one. I packaged it, in a shipping box, and returned it. Worse of all, I didn't get full refund. I got charged "RESTOCKING FEE!" For an defective item!!! Amazon chat agent admitted that the SELLER charged restocking fee for defective damaged item shipped by Amazon truck! DON'T BUY! If it's defective, you can't return without a restocking fee!!! I am going to dispute with my credit card company.

My kid let me submit a review since she likes it so much. She wants everyone tol know that. This is her first time to get a fishing pole kit, I have to say this one is much better than what I expected. All things can be put in order inside the bag. The quality is very good, I can feel the weight and smooth ball-bearing drive. We are all satisfy with this fishing kit!

First off the little buckets and nets were a hit with my niece and nephew. Nice quality and cute. The poles, however, weren’t even usable. I figured it would be good enough for them to catch some little perch or blue fill. The line was so coiled it wouldn’t even cast more than 10 feet from the boat. Either of them. They collapse down nicely. I’ll try put on new line and see if it makes a difference. Disappointed with the overall usability.

The winding and unwinding of the fishing line on the rod was a nightmare which constantly frustrated my son, me and everyone else. Whether it was a defect for this one rod or not, the vendor quickly contacted me on the issue. The vendor was kind enough to read my first review and offered me a full refund before even discussing the problem. I considered his approach to be excellent customer service and would recommend buying anyone to buy from this excellent vendor who puts customer satisfaction first and foremost. I have edited my first review to now reflect four stars, the full refund and the vendors excellent customer service based on my experience.

I thought that I got a good deal for this price, but believe me, it’s Very expensive for the quality.There are tons of much higher quality for better prices.I bought another brand for my kid
