It's installed and working as it should
This is as good as the ones at the local big box stores with the certifications. Depending on which neutral key you need, tape the other one to the current cable so you know where it is if you ever need it. I use the plug I got to provide 220v to my electronic equipment.

Dryer plug
I wired it up to 60 gallon air compressor works great now I can use compressor at different locations off of my dryer or oven outlet rather than being stationary

It's a plug
Plug has 50A terminal installed. Pretty easy to change it to the 30A if you need to. Sturdy construction I would recommend it if you were to ask me. I am using it on a Lincoln 225 "Tombstone" Arc welder. It works as it should with no surprises.

Good design - Well thought out
I know it may be a small thing, but these are just designed so much better than some other similar priced knock-offs. There's a metal clamp (with rubber insulative ring) that can clamp onto the incoming wire or conduit, so that it doesn't expose bare wires. I tried another slightly cheaper option on Amazon and it didn't have this (and the way the plug assembled with screws was just cheaply designed). This model and the 50amp model are designed the same way with two larger screws and it just works well. Didn't realize what little details mattered until I tried a different brand, but ended up getting the 30amp plug model in this brand.
