Okay I debated about the size to get after going through the reviews. I think when it says true to size it means true to the waist size on the chart. I wear a US size 10 mostly in pants, large in shirts usually. I'm about 5'3, 155-160. I originally bought the XL according to the chart but I didn't actually take the time to properly measure my waist. I think a size 10 to 12 usually equates to a 32.5 waist. So I should have gone with the XXL. I ended up returning the XL and it was very easy to do so. And then I bought the XXL which I just tried on. You have to definitely unlace the tie in the back and stretch it to the fullest. And then put it on. And then tighten it back up in the back. It will stretch to accommodate. You might also be comfortable in a 3x if the clothes you're wearing underneath it are going to be very bulky. If you're just wearing it over a t-shirt, the 2x would be fine. I think if I got it 3x, it would be too large but I'm just putting it over a dress for Halloween. The clasps are a little difficult but they eventually click and I think it looks pretty high quality for only being $13. But also it's $13 so you shouldn't expect it to last forever. I don't know why it comes with a thong but I ended up throwing that away because I'll never wear it.

STYLEThis corset is absolutely gorgeous! It is a beautiful smooth satin, which makes it look almost gold. It looks absolutely beautiful on. It is super sexy, not only do I plan on wearing it under my wedding dress but I'm gong to style my wedding night lingerie around it!QUALITY I have bought corsets online for much more than the $12 this one cost, and they were such gross, cheap material that was closer to big-box halloween costumes. But this one feels like it should cost $75. The laces aren't super super soft, but you can tell they are very strong and they are the flat type of ribbons that you want in a corset for under clothes/dresses/etc..SIZEI ordered a size large. For reference, I am 5'0", approx. 145 lbs (I'm trying to lose 15 lbs before my wedding), a 36D bra, 31" waist, and 43" hip. I'm short and curvy! I wanted this to help flatten out my lower stomach chub since my wedding dress is VERY fitted. It fits very very well, I think I could've gotten an XL (there is a bit of space in the back that the fabric behind the laces does not cover), but hopefully with the weight I am aiming to lose before the wedding, it will be perfect. But if not, it is definitely still wearable for sure!UNDER CLOTHESIt defines my waist, smooths out my stomach and is not super bulky at all. I was worried about the front clasps/hooks being super visible but they BARELY stick out. With a thick enough slip, I don't think any lines will be visible under my fitted satin dress.COMFORTThis is a VERY comfortable corset - I can breathe easily, sit comfortably, bend over, and more without any issues at all. It does not feel like it would ride up after a night of dancing at all. I've had several other pieces of shapewear that get the same job done, but I would be counting down the minutes until I could get home and take them off...this one is not suffocating, I feel like I may forget it's even on!Overall, I am so impressed and shocked with the amazing quality of this corset and I can't wait to order more.

It is a little tricky to get in to so I suggest having a friend there to help. The color is amazing and it fits like a dream once it’s all done up. It’s going to look so good for my pirate look

Cute corset but the front where u fasten up at keeps coming undone I've tried to do it myself to no success without 1 of the 5 coming undone I even had my guy do it for me WITH 1 COMING UNDONE 😤. Maybe I purchased the wrong one maybe it's not meant for plus size females who knows but don't let my experience be yours try ir for yourself & see how u Like it.

Go up at least 3 sizes the strings are so long I had to cut them even after I wrapped them around the corset 3/4 times the metal on the sides hurt if you don’t align the corset correctly

I used it for Halloween for a pirate costume it was perfect and you can use it for more costumes. It does get very uncomfortable and make your back hurt but it’s a corset that’s to be expected.

This is not a stretchy shapewear corset, it isn't stretchy at all. It's a real corset, the back unlaces and gets wider to allow room. For the price the quality is good. The satin has a nice feel and it cinches beautifully. You can get a pretty nice hourglass shape even on a round tummy with proper lacing. I purchased for a costume but it's so pretty I'm trying to find a way to wear it outside of the costume.

the product itself is great especially for the price. Looks like more expensive corsets ive had but lightweight. that said, the lack of metal boning in this means you can't tightlace ...but i dont do that anywaythe main gripe is the WILD sizing. i'm a solid women's 2x in everything else. Size 20 in pants. 40-42 bra band. 3x maybe if something runs really smalli'm a 7x in this.

Sehr süßes Korsett nur leider hält es nichts aus und die Stangen sind direkt beim ersten Mal tragen durch den Stoff gebrochen. Leider jetzt für die Tonne.
