It is not like mutton but is still better than other options available. Wash properly with ample water before proceeding to make. It is soft and texture is not like mutton. Lookwise it is like mutton. Still I liked it.

The flavour is obviously not meat but they never taste like meat because unless impossible burger or beyond meat came to India you won’t get that. Sadly, the texture is not chewy like non-veg either. Desi treat soya chaap is better. If you’re still adamant on having this better get a nice gravy going. I know I did but I was still disappointed.

idk about all the other comments what was their expectations i myself had mock meat vegan meat at so many places in my city and it taste so good and it was same like that even better my mom made it with cashew muskmelon seeds paste gravy and it was way awosome felt like i am having mutton in real without even the guilt love the product guys my family loved it can't wait to order this again and more of your products loved it

DesiTreats churns out good products but this thing is so weird tasting. I followed all instructions and added some additional spices and condiments in order to save the curry but gosh the mock meat just tastes and smells so weird. Like something you can expect in government covid quarantine centres. Had a spoonfull, threw away the rest. Definite fail. Also, it tastes NOTHING like real meat, obviously! Even vegetarians will be able to make out.

I saw quite a few small black round grains in the food. I am not sure about the hygiene The colour was not good either The taste was not not right.
