Worked perfect. I had to dig up the monitor instructions to figure out how to remove the existing post. Mounted the plate to the arm and dropped the monitor onto the mount. Fit great. The part is well made, no rough surfaces. The finish is paint I believe which gassed off in a day after I unwrapped them from the paper. It's sturdy and I like it compared to the mish match I engineered to work before. I bought two for my setup. Pretty happy with the outcome. No instructions but if you know how to install 4 screws and nuts no problem.

Functional and fit perfectly

While trying to mount my monitor, the washers on this mount came apart, luckily I had a firm grip on my monitor or it would’ve smashed onto the floor. Upon inspection of the parts, I could see that it was held together by some cheap washers. At the very least, the two separate pieces should have been glued down. These are flimsy at best, use at your own risk.

This product mitigates what I consider to be a huge design flaw on Samsung's part: the monitor's VESA mount is way too high. This bracket relocates a usable VESA mount on the bottom edge of the device, which lifts this monitor up to an appropriate eye level for me. The bracket is well-made and sturdy, and has made me soooooo happy this first week.

The reason to order the VESA adapter was to center the monitor around the mounting location. This Samsung moinitor had its mounting location at the top of the monitor, therefore, when you mount the monitor, it is hanging VERY LOW compated to other center mounted monitors.So I ordered the VESA adapter, but when it arrived, I realize, it does just the opposite, it mounts near the bottom, putting the monitor way ABOVE other centere mounted monitors.It is still sitting in the box it came with, thinking I can add my own plate to it to center the monitor.So, if you are ordering the adapter to center the monitor around its mounting location, don't order it.

I ordered this by mistake but was able to use it on a monitor I already owned. This mount is great. Really solid and connects to the monitor easily. This does require some monitor dissasembly to get the stand off to expose the holes for this to be screwed in but it's worth it. Probably the best and sturdiest mount I've ever owned.

I bought this monitor stand and it was just too short with my monitor (Samsung ue510) because the mounting bracket is WAAAY at the top of the monitor. I was worried this wouldn't work - would it be sturdy enough? Would it raise the monitor enough? I could get the monitor to the right height by rotating the display 180 degrees, but the viewing angle was all off and the controls were hard to manage.I searched long and far (in addition to trying some questionable "hacks" on the monitor arm) and ultimately found this Mount. It worked perfectly! I can now raise or lower my monitor to JUST the right height!
