Works HP 17-cn0065cl
Worked for my 2 x 17-cn0065cl laptopsNow I can use a much smaller travel power supply and quickly replace if power supply fails. Why HP doesn’t just make laptops with usb-c power I don’t know

Not what for me
We thought we could use this like a cellphone. What I mean is once I finish charging my cellphone I could use the same charger to charge me laptop, no it didn't work that way .you need to still use a charger that provides the even higher voltage to charge it. That's why I returned it but if you have the right charger it does work

This will destroy USB-C devices!
I'm not being alarmist here. This dongle will delete any device that can't handle 20 volts. Here is how it happens:1. You connect this to a USB-C charger, and to your HP laptop. It charges. Nice.2. You disconnect it from the laptop.3. You disconnect it from the USB-C charger, and use the same charger to charge your phone.4. Your phone blows up.The issue here is that when you unplug the USB-C charger from the dongle, the USB-C charger stays on, outputting 20 volts, until you reset the charger. The next device, your phone, can't handle this, and will die. This dongle violates basically every USB-C specification there is.
