You are drawn in by the intense love this couple has for one another. What transpires over the next few years keeps you on the edge of your seat to see where the story will go. It is an amazing journey and wonderfully written.

This book gave me everything I want in a book. I would say that it's one of the best books I've read in quite a while. Gray and Livvy just Took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Their story starts out amazing, which I got a full view of thanks to the prequel, Finding Gray. That gave us an insight to how their relationship began. When it began we see that they are truly soulmates. Their love is deep and intense. Without any spoilers, from that point things for both of them are gut wrenching. They're separated, for reasons you'll have to read about in the book, and it's bad. Livvy goes through some unimaginable things and is able to come out of it alive, but not really living. Gray is empty inside after Livvy left him without any explanation, and he never recovered from that loss. Fate brings her and Gray together years later. And then the roller coaster begins again. The highs are highs, and the lows are very low for them. Secrets kept never turn out good. Just know that HEAs are a necessity for me when I read a book, and they get their's. But boy did they work for it! I love the authors style. It drew me and immediately with the prequel and I could not put either one down until I finish this book. It was engaging, it was intense, it was romantic, it was suspenseful, it was sexy as hell. Love that! Can't wait to read the rest of the Calloway boys stories

Forsaking Gray (The Colloway Brothers) by KL Kreig4 stars!!“But now I’m starting to wonder...is it the secrets that will break us, or the truth?”This was my first read by KL Kreig and it won’t be my last. These Colloway brothers will keep me entertained for quite a while me thinks! I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I loved the author’s voice. This book was captivating from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down. This is the story of Gray Colloway and Livia.When Livia was younger she worked in a pizza restaurant, in comes Gray, cocky and a bit of full of himself and tries to get Livia to go out on a date, she refuses. Gray does not give up, Livia still refuses, Gray is persistent, Livia still refuses, Gray wins, they date, they are seriously smoking together and totally head over heels, they get engaged, then the day after Livia vanishes, Gray is broken, like really, really broken.“You’ve worked pretty hard for it so I guess I’ll throw you a bone.”Fast forward five years and their paths cross once again. Neither are the same person they were five years ago. Livia is broken but slowly healing from the past five years and Gray is still as heartbroken as the day Livia disappeared, he has never, ever got over her disappearance.Livia made the ultimate sacrifice five years ago that nearly cost her her life and most definitely her sanity but the biggest sacrifice was Gray. She has never forgotten him, certainly never got over him and he has always been her biggest regret. Having escaped the situation she found herself in she has now moved to Chicago to hide from her past and try and get her life back together. The last person she expects to bump into is Gray.“I don’t care how fast and how far you run, I’ll run faster and farther. I’m not letting you go. Ever...”This story is full of lies, deceit and a huge dose of angst but most importantly it is about second chances and forgiveness. This is one of those stories that I cannot go into details about as you need to read it as the author intended. The characters and plot speak for themselves and if you are anything like me you will be totally swept away in Gray and Livia’s story. It isn’t pretty but these two make the most and best of it but they have their hurdles. Trust is the biggest issue and communication. Livia doesn’t want to give Gray the full details as she is embarrassed and humiliated, but Gray wants to know everything to try to understand and when you know that someone is still holding back and they obviously still do not trust you, it hurts.Gray has the means to do his own digging and so he does, but hearing it from the horse’s mouth would have been so much better and misunderstandings could have been prevented. This normally irks me so much but in the case it was relatable and understandable and only made you want to root for this couple all the more. I could understand their hesitance and their reticence, I wanted to hold their hands, bash their heads together and say now talk, but the way that KL Kreig fed us this story was true to the situation and the characters.“I don’t know when you’re going to pick up and walk back out of it again without a g***amn word, and I’m telling you right now, that will annihilate me.”The twist at the end was certainly an OMG moment and one that I never saw coming and certainly got my head spinning, what were the chances! However, knowing that we have more Colloway hotness to come has me salivating for the next book in this series, which brother will be next? Who cares...they are all hot, bring it on KL Kreig.

Thank goodness one of my best friends recommend this book to me!This was my first read by K.L. Kreig and certainly will not be my last! I found the story hard to put down and thankfully I didn’t have to! I had nowhere to go and a weekend to read!This story was packed with lies, secrets, betrayal, heartbreak, second-chances, fate makes an appearance angst, twists and turns and let’s not leave out those steamy sex scenes! This story between Livia Kingsley and Gray Colloway’s had my emotions all over the place! Each has there own 5 years of hell, before they find their way back to each other – and that little twist at the end!! Wowzer!Everything about this book is fantastic… the storyline, the plot, the characters, the writing!! This is a definite must read!!! This is book 1 in a 4-book series. Each book features a different brother and each can be read STANDALONE.

This was my first read by this author, and I can tell you that it won’t be my last.This story was beautiful….it was raw and gritty and so heartbreaking at times that I cried like a baby. All Livvy wanted was her fairytale, but what she got was betrayal, torture and heartache….that is, until she bumped unexpectedly into Gray, her first and only love.There were so many secrets between them, but hope springs eternal when both Livvy and Gray still carried their deep love for each other. But, would it be enough? Read now to find out, but I’ll warn you…once you start reading, you will be unable to put it down. It’s THAT good.

This story had me hooked. (Read finding gray first). From the first chapter I couldn't put it down. Couldn't have asked for a better ending

The prologue … my stomach was on knots and my jaw hit the floor …totally unexpected… i was in for quite the ride !WOW! When you find the time to actually make a dent in your tbr, infact this one is probably been my latest addition to this list, sometimes you read one and it’s like you’ve hit gold, you read 100s of brilliant books but every so often there’s a Gem, one that stands out from the crowd, one that i’m kicking myself i’ve only just read. Forsaking Gray has ripped out my heart, blew me away and a story that knocked me sideways because i did not whatsoever expect this storyline !It’s Dark, raw, intense, gut wrenching deeply emotionalA love so intense so passionate so real, It’s one of those truly unique love stories.What a rollercoaster, the journey they have to go through it only makes their love go from strength to strength and Livia, the least selfish woman, to go through what she endured, for need of protection and her love for others, to not only break but shatter her own heart, to live and breathe pain and fear, no one deserves the fairy tale ending as much as Livia and it only makes the happiness so much sweeter, so much heart felt and so much closure!Gray, another alpha to add to my list! Demanding, controlling, determined, forgiving and god does he love hard! dirty talking and the Hotness and sex appealoozes from him!i loved the darkness of the story, going in blind was probably the best thing i could have done. but so much light comes from it too, the warmth and happiness. It’s an mind- blowing story thats going to stay with me !Now i’m needing Asher!

This book was a gem. It's really seldom this days to find a Book that keeps you reading the whole night, at the breakfast table, while cooking and even at the bathroom. 😁This was an epic love story! Can't wait for Ashers book and the rest of the Colloway brothers.

Oh. My.I just..... I just can't even.....There's about 3-5 quotes/statements, whatever you want to call them, that in all my reading over the last few years have imprinted so brightly into my psyche, that I can't ever let them go. Those are the little words that help me when I'm feeling down, help ground me, help cheer me up, help me believe in romance. Some of these words may not mean much to someone else and may not make sense as to why they sit so strongly with me - and to be honest.... a couple of them - I don't even know! I just know they hit a spot on my heart. And then BAM! What do you know.... Kelly shoves a paragraph in my face that joins those rare few others, that will forever sit imprinted (think a-la Jacob in Twilight!) These are the words you can recite exactly as they are written and know exactly which book they came from.Not at all surprisingly, this book - like it's novella - is gorgeous. The story picks up exactly where the novella left us hanging - so you MUST read "Finding Gray" first!There is just the right amount of angst, without slowly killing you with frustration and wanting to throw your Kindle at the wall. Just enough that you feel it and Hope against all hope that it can be overcome.There is just the right amount of "hot" moments, without turning the book into a seedy porno. Just enough to get you a bit bothered and looking for your husband (or wife).There is just the right amount of KL Kreig..... which really - there is no such thing as not enough!! Her writing, like everything of Kelly's I have read, is superb. It's emotional, it's heart wrenching, it's love and it's life. It's real.I am so excited to be meeting the Colloway boys!!!If you are needing a new family to fall in love with - make it these boys!

This is my first book from KL Krieg and I am totally hooked on her writing!! Gray & Livia's story is so intense. Right from the start I loved how developed the characters were. True young love then being torn apart to meeting again one day. Can their love survive all the years and heartbreak they have endured? Will they ever trust the other with their hearts? I felt so desperate for them both and enjoyed every sizzling seductive page. Now onto Asher's story!! Great series!!
