Purchased the Tkieio Kochou Cosplay Costume for my teenage son, largely due to his relentless enthusiasm and my inability to say no to his puppy-dog eyes. And, oh boy, the transformation was out of this world!Reality vs Expectation: My son often orders clothes online that end up fitting like they were tailored for a blobfish. But with this costume, he emerged from his room looking like he stepped straight out of a manga, ready to embark on a grand quest (or at least retrieve the remote from across the room).Quality: The fabric's quality is impeccable! It’s as if ancient anime tailors from distant realms gathered under a full moon to craft this masterpiece. The kimono holds up well to teenage antics and even survived the dreaded "room floor test."Accessories: The details are astonishing. With each piece, you can sense the dedication to the character. If the costume had any more depth, it'd have its own character arc.Fit: The size 'S' was spot on. It draped over him just right, highlighting his young adult transition while reminding me that he’s not my little boy anymore (sobs internally).Unintended Benefits: Our neighbor, seeing my son in full Kochou attire, now inquires about the next anime series to binge. My son’s become the local anime guru, it seems.Minor Drawbacks: Our dog is slightly befuddled. He looks at my son like he's expecting him to break into an anime opening song any moment now. On the plus side, my son now has a furry sidekick for his adventures.In Conclusion: Would I recommend the Tkieio Kochou Cosplay Costume for other teens? Without a doubt! It’s the perfect ensemble for any teenager looking to dive into their favorite anime universe or simply up their cool factor in the household. Great anime set, loved it

I am 5”2 and weigh about 120 or around that so I ordered size medium. The pants and top fit well and are baggy enough and not too tight. The leg warmer part of the uniform also fit well as well as the haori. I hadn’t put the butterfly clip on but it’s made out of a firm plastic with the clip as well so I think it will work well. The belt is also good quality but I will buy one with the sword attachment. The only complaint I have is the buttons. They are silver, and hashira buttons are gold, but it’s advertised as hashira uniform. If you plan to buy this and wear it to a con, and want it to look more anime accurate, you can buy gold buttons here on Amazon or at a crafts store.

Some of the things it showed in the image didn’t come with the actual cosplay, like the bamboo mussel was bigger in the picture but small in real life. The ribbon was a bow in real life but the actual ribbon in the picture.

Everything was okay, however, the yellow hues on the cape are not present, the white streaks on the front of the jacket are poorly sewn on, the shirt was also very short length wise and I needed to place the belt higher than where it was supposed to be. Other than those small details, it's overall okay for any beginner cosplay.

According to the sizing chart listed with this item I fit into the L category. I ordered a 2XL just to have some wiggle room and it is STILL TOO SMALL!!! I went two sizes up and cannot even put the costume on. This is a terrible and CHEAP product. The hair clip is cardboard hot glued to a pin. DO NOT BUY!!

Great material just runs a little too small so get 1 size up from your normal size because it's worth the buy of it fits.

Absolutely wonderful! I took a chance on this costume due to lack of reviews and was a bit nervous about how it would come out and I can gladly say it was more than I expected! The colors are vibrant and nice, the costume fit true to size, it came super fast, and it overall looks great! A few things to note is that the button holes are a little tight so you may have to tear them a little open, be gentle, it’s easiest if you take some scissors put them in the button whole and carefully open the scissors (if that makes sense). If your looking to buy it just do it already, you won’t be disappointed!
