MRS. MEYER'S CLEAN DAY Liquid Fabric Softener, Infused with Essential Oils, Paraben Free, Basil, 32 oz (32 Loads)

I'm not sure where I originally bought this product... or even if I did. But one day I found it sitting on my basement shelf and I had run out of my regular softener. I was reluctant to try it, but only because I'm slightly phobic of change in general. Even when I opened it and got a heavenly rush of it's lavender bliss - I was still a little hesitant to throw it in the wash. But really it was either that or forgo fabric softener, which I wasn't sure I could do. So I kind of closed my eyes and poured a little in. When I took my load out of the wash I noticed that my clothes smelled lovely. The scent wasn't too strong or too faint. So far so good. But the real magic was when I took my clothes out of the dryer. They were seriously the softest they had ever been. I was (and am) extremely impressed. I get a little excited taking my laundry out of the dryer now as lame as that might sound. And not to sound more lame but I honestly get anxiety thinking I may run out of this. As soon as I realized I was low - I ran to Amazon and ordered myself some more because I'm not sure if they sell this locally (and I'm positive I can't live without it). Thankfully I can (mostly) always count on Amazon. I would definitely suggest giving this product a try. I'm not a huge fan of scents or perfumes as a general rule - but I really love the way this smells and even if I didn't - I might use it regardless just because of the crazy softness it weaves into my clothes. Mrs. Meyer's rocks. I can't wait to try some other products of this brand.

This fabric softener works great and does the job like big brand softeners without the added junk. We try to stick with more natural products for a variety of reasons but mainly due to our son's allergies. We have been using the Mrs. Myer's fabric softener for over a year and it works as it should and smells great, but not overpowering like some softeners!

Okay, this review is being written by a guy, but I do the laundry in the house and I've been doing laundry for 15 years. So if I use dude terms like "smells pretty", please don't hold it against me.So we (my family) doesn't live in an area with a Meyer's, so the name was completely foreign. After seeing a lot of great reviews, and looking to find a fabric softener that actually works past the 5 minutes after you pull it from the dryer, we pulled the trigger and hoped for the best. My, oh my. I felt strange using less fabric softener than when I pour a shot of bourbon, but I could even smell the lavender when transferring clothes to the dryer. For the first few loads, I skipped out on dryer sheets in order to get the full experience of the fabric softener.After one load, I felt an immediate difference in clothes that I've worn for years. Shirts that have years of sweat and dirt ground into the fabric (you know the shirt I'm talking about, the one I'll never throw away) feels like life has been restored to the threads. Laid over the top of born again cotton is the wonderful, enduring aroma of a lavender field of cotton goodness. And for some reason, I get to receive the blessing of wearing this. Day after day.We have been using this for nearly a year and I've put Meyer's dryer sheets into the mix. It's such an amazing upgrade to our laundry from even the high end "main stream" teddy bear and baking soda muscle arm.I'm very happy with this purchase and will continue buying it for a long time.

I’ve had the laundry soap but thought I would give the fabric softener a try due to the fact that the laundry soap is very expensive but love the smell. Disappointed in the lack of the scent , not being as vibrant and my clothes not being as soft as other fabric softeners.

This fabric softener works great but the lavender was too sweet of a lavender. While it worked, I’ll be looking for something else I like better.

The scent is so amazing!! Even when the clothes are in the dryer you can smell it. Clothes are soft too!

This stuff smells AMAZING. It smells like lavender essential oil. That being said, if you don't actually like lavender essential oil, this is NOT the product for you. It seems to do a good job keeping clothes fluffy, and I like that it's very concentrated. You only use about a tablespoon for a normal size load. I do NOT like the cap. The cap has the normal screw portion, plus a piece that goes down deep inside the neck of the bottle. I'm guessing this is to prevent extra product from leaking through the threads and spilling. I've seen other brands with similar caps, but this one uses twice the plastic and makes measuring the product odd. The full load measuring line is half of the capacity of the weird lid (i.e.: at the threads, where the weird neck portion SHOULD stop). I couldn't figure out why we were using it so quickly (we don't have THAT much laundry). Eventually I figured out that my S.O. had been filling the full lid and literally using twice the amount recommended. It's too expensive to waste!

I discovered this product on holiday in the US and loved it so I was delighted to discover I could buy it at home. The description on Amazon very clearly stated it was a pack of 6 so although the price would be a little higher than my usual product, I thought it was worth it. So I was very disappointed to discover there was only 1 bottle in my delivery - I've checked the description again and still can't see where it states only 1 bottle will be delivered. Lovely as this product smells, it's certainly not worth £17!!

Just amazing!! LOVE the smell on my clothes and towels - cant wait to try the other products out! Doesnt say whether or not its HE compatible on the bottle but their website says it is ;)

It works just as well as any other fabric softener. However, I feel better using this product because it is environmentally safe. Would buy again.
