Nars Satin Lip Pencil, Biscayne Park, 0.07 Ounce

I love NARS’s satin lip pencils—creamy texture, doesn’t dry my lips out, wears nicely. Feels more like a lip balm than a lipstick.I LOVE the Rikugien color. It’s the only product I own that looks good regardless of whether I have a tan or not. If I’m at my fairest, I could pretty much wear white out as a foundation to give you an idea of my color match. This color on my pale skin just looks like a berry pop. When I’m not looking like Elvira Queen of the Damned, and have a hint of a tan, this color looks very natural by comparison. Pairs well with my Orgasm color blush, Also from Nars.

I’ve never tried a Nars product before, but I keep seeing YouTubers who recommend them. A couple of things struck me right away. I got Lodhi color, and in the picture it is much more neutral than the actual product. The real color is very pink (see pic) and was not what I was going for.The other issue is the texture. It’s very creamy and luscious, which to me is fine if it’s a lipstick but this is a pencil. Am I wrong? It should have a more solid texture and be a little more long lasting. I’m no makeup expert; that’s just my opinion.If I work up the courage to actually put it on my lips, I may update the review! ;)

This is definitely not an original Nars product. I knew after using this and it did not wear like it usually does that something was off. I Have other Nars Lip Pencils & after close comparison I realized it is not an original.

Rikugien is my HG neutral lip color. I have fair, yellow-toned skin and this lip pencil is just the right flush of color to make me look healthy and put-together in a pinch. I wish it were a little less expensive, but it lasts long enough that I can't really complain!

So pleased with my Nars Satin Lip Pencil Rikugien....it's such a natural look to my lips ...very hard for me to find a lip color I like but this gives me the shine and just enough tint to make my lips perk up can't find this locally so love that could buy it on line ...to add to my delight and surprise vendor sent beautiful makeup carry case ....so I am extremely pleased ....Gold beautiful just in time for wedding I have to go to and this will carry all my supplies ....thank you thank you thank you... look forward to ordering again.....

Love it BUT you will need a sharpener to use it. Yes - duh - but my regular sharpener opening was too small for this pencil so I came back and bought the NARS sharpener. I have concerns about how many applications are in this pencil, as I had to sharpen it after using it only a few times. But I do love the color and consistency on my lips of the product.

Love the way the color stays on all day BUT the pencil purchased from Sephora locally outlasted the one purchased online. On day 2, I opened the pencil and the entire color stick fell out of the case into the floor and became one big blob. Won’t be ordering this online anymore- only in person!

the tip broke off the 1st time I tried to use it.... no giant sharpener cause it does not fit in my biggest two options to sharpen... it felt nice and silky, but …… $25 and it broke instantly!!!!

This is the perfect colour for me I absolutely love it and I would recommend it to everyone. Don't buy from here as it's very over priced for what it is you can buy this for £19.99 on asos and I wish I did that.
