My sun Conure Parrot has been feeding on sunflower seeds, so she doesn't like nothing in the pack and I have to keep trying until she cave in I just gotta pick out the sun flower seeds so she can get use to the other seeds a pallets

The mixture in the bag pictured with the African Grey is NOT as pictured. The pictures show that the blend includes sesame seed nuggets, which our bird absolutely loves! However, no sesame nuggets are in the mixture. It does include lots of sunflower, pumpkin, safflower seeds, and some pellets. Freshness is fine.

We have a very fussy Blue Front Amazon Parrot. I know what she should have, but Jade doesn’t want what she is supposed to have! She enjoyed this seed product and another, it’s time to purchase more. She says Thank you when she really likes something, and she loves this!

I ordered this a few months ago but didn't want to write as review as I'm not the consumer of this product, my conure is. If your conure is like my conure Joey, she may be reluctant to try a new treat that isn't off your plate. With a little patience, it was possible to introduce sensible seed into her regular diet. Now that Joey knows what this is, she looks forward to it and eagerly goes to her food dish for it (I trained her to take snacks in her cage to avoid a huge mess). Once I knew she love it, I moved to the next stage. I now scatter it on the top of her cage (her cage has a top and bottom tray) into the paper. She will forage for it. It's an easy way to encourage and nurture this natural behaviour and simulate foraging for food in the wild. I hope to move onto using a foraging toy with this food. But for now, I'm happy that I have food that's strictly hers that isn't just pellets. It's important to remember that not all parrots have similar taste. When choosing to get something new, you should be prepared to accept that the product you receive is perfectly fine but your bird doesn't like it. They have their own wants, needs, and preferences.
