As easy as it gets!
I bought this because it was recommended by 'Which' as a best-buy. So far, I have not been disappointed. The build quality is premium and robust, and the simple dial mechanism makes it super easy to use.Pros:-Cleaning: The non-stick inner pan is super easy to clean. Food residue wipes off instantly, even after a full day of slow cooking.-Usability: The inner pan is removable, so you can start cooking on the hob to brown onions/meat etc before moving it into the machine.-The stirrer: The stirring function gives you the option to either 'pulse', a single stir, or 'auto' which mixes the contents of the slow cooker every 30 mins.-The size: the machine doesn't take up too much space in my cupboardCons:-The recipe book: at the back of the instruction book, there is a short recipe section. I found these to be OKAY, but have had more success in experimenting through trial and error-Cleaning the lid: water can sometimes get trapped in the cavity at the top of the glass lid where the mixer is attached after cleaning. This isn't a huge problem as it can be reached but it's not as easy as the rest of the machine to clean.-No timer: I tend to leave my slow cooker on whilst I'm at work, so the food is ready when I get home. It would be nice to have a timer so I could have the machine turn off in the event I had to work late unexpectedly.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase; the pros easily outweigh the cons. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a slow cooker. In terms of size, I find that I generally get around 6 or 7 meals out of it, but I could probably get more out if required, so this model would work great for families. I certainly wouldn't ever feel the need to go up to the larger size; the only way I could imagine needing so much space would be to cook for a large gathering or party.

Well made and good value
I am very pleased with this Slow cooker which says what it does on the tin in spades. I personally have not used the lightweight non stick inner container on the stove, although they say you can, as I prefer to use a heavy pan and I have not found any problems in cleaning the cooker. The accompanying booklet is more than adequate to understand how it works. My only criticism is that the feet of the cooker are made of a plastic which is very slippery on my worktop. However this was cured by placing on an anti slip mat

If Hogwarts sold slow cookers..
Absolutely love this genius product. Great value for money. The ability to use the pot to sear on hob (we've done onions) and then put straight in the slow cooker is fab, my fella always leaves a million things to wash up whenever he goes into the kitchen, now there's just this! The auto stir function makes me feel like I'm in the Weasley's kitchen. I've actually spent quite a bit of time just watching and admiring it. It has two options, a 30 second pulse and a once every 30 mins (I think). There is a few mm gap between the bottom of the stirrer paddle and the pot which manages to mix everything nicely and saves on more washing up! Stirrer paddle is super easy to click on and off too.I thought we would argue about constantly having a bulky slow cooker on the side for days waiting to be cleaned, but the actual pot itself is so slender and easy to clean, as soon as it's emptied it's washed out and dried, even by my domestically challenged boyfriend.Only potential downside is that the glass lid doesn't have a hinge to hold itself up, so you have to unclamp it and set it aside to add anything in or taste while it's on - that's just a personal preference though, it's not heavy or inconvenient at all.The lid can be a little difficult to clean as you can't remove the top bit with the buttons on or clamps off the side which makes it a bit bulky, but just wiping down around those bits with a cloth works fine! We've made soups, curry, apple pie filling, cauliflower cheese, gammon, loads! All delicious and fuss free. Just stick everything in in the morning and by evening it's ready to serve! I think we paid £49 and got next day delivery - would definitely recommend!

Moved to larger slow cooker with metal pot
It is easy clean. Bought seperate lid as don't really plan to use stirrer. This works fine. The stirrer seems to work - but is cumbersome. Have not used stirrer yet so no idea how easy to clean this bit. Initial assembly and disassembly of stirrer a bit fiddly- but probably easier as you get used to it. 4 Star as not used stirrer and not had long.

Some lovely meals
Very easy to use and clean with a wide range of recipes available. Would be great if the manufacturer included some non scratch utensils or protect the non stick finish.
