invaluable book.
Excellent book for the layman that gives you in simple terms what you need to know and do for mitochondrial optimisation. I didn't give it 5, cos it wasn't up to scratch on sunbathing/sunscreen (see Mercola.com for that) and advocates soy, whereas that's a endocrine toxin etc. Also she didn't say what brand of glutathione she takes - the name of it. i had to look on the web to try and find it and from that I presume it's Quicksilver. We also need to know whether it needs to be cold all the time. It seems so. She didn't mention that raw egg white is a potent glutathione precursor (as is non-denatured, cold processed whey powder). She does use egg white in the optimal pudding but it's apparently not for this reason, and she uses processed egg white.

Lots of Energy
I just finished reading this book. Very easy to read for those of us who know nothing about mitochondria. I could tell Dr. Bennett did a great deal of research to explain the science behind her recommendations. For me, I need the "why." Otherwise, I tell myself "it's ok." I have to admit I have a lot of habits that hurt my Mighty Mitos. I'm happy to learn that there are many simple solutions to repairing the damage and getting tons of energy. I also purchased her Mighty Mitos Tool Kit. I love it. I'm feeling higher levels of energy already by adding just a few new practices into my day. I think she has found the secret to ultimate health and great energy. It makes a lot of sense. I look forward to her next book.

Critical information well presented thoroughly
This book covers what I'm discovering is the essence of vitality and longevity. It is written is a fairly straight forward manner that anyone with zero background can gain a ton from it. I like that she mentions keto diet and intermittent fasting as great avenues to improve one's "mighty mito", but doesn't launch into it. Instead leaves it to the readers to explore further. Short and sweet and to the point. Plenty of repeated emphasis on what matters the most. Fast and easy read.

Great starting point
I first heard Dr Bennett speak during an online health talk about root causes of fatigue. This book was mentioned during the talk and I made a note to look at it. This book does a great job explaining the job of mitochondria and how vital that they are healthy and strong. It has a very clear plan to follow to recharge your mitochondria along with recipes to try. It’s a good place to start if you want to take some steps on your own to improve your mitochondrial health. This book is good for people struggling with fatigue and for people that want to investigate the root causes behind fatigue.

Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired? Start Here.
Wow, Dr. Bennett is very thorough!! Anything and everything you could possible want to know (and some stuff you wish you didn't) will be found in this book on gut health. I'm not very knowledgable about medical terminology, but Dr. Bennett explained in easy to understand terms how the body functions, why we encounter digestive discomfort and upset tummy's, and what to do about these issues. The insight into understanding our guts are the root cause of most all disease is eye opening. I feel more hopeful and optimistic that balancing my internal digestive systems will bring better health and function to my body as a whole. She gives a simple easy to follow plan to regain health and wellness, and has fun in the process.

This book was easy to read and full of practical information. I particularly enjoyed her own health journey and how she recovered from this condition.

She does a great job of explaining details while keeping you interested
If a book gets to scientific I start to fade away. She does a great job of explaining details while keeping you interested. I bookmarked lots of pages in it. Mitochondria can explain so many things, so many illnesses. They are responsible for how your body uses oxygen and digests food, especially fats and sugars. I'm sick now because AL the antibiotics I was given I'm sure decimated the mitochondria, now I have to get them back, or at least strengthen the ones I have. A god list of supplements insude, maybe more then I wanted to know. Just wish I had a doctor that knew this stuff to help me implement it.

Love the information!
Having listened to the author speak on several summits regarding health, and in particular about mitochondria, I purchased the book to have the info in print, to reference easily.There is the info on the subject and some ideas on food preparations which best contribute to the efficacy of the mighty mitochondria.

Great for anyone suffering fatigue ( chronic ) low energy , enthusiasm .... Constantly tired ... This book explains why at cellular level and tips to change with diet and supplements to turn that around. ... I recommend it and an easy book to read .... Difficult reading
Not for me at all. It's too difficult in my opinion to read, too many terms I've not heard before or ever will hear. Just couldn't finish it. Ended up ignoring it in my collection of e-books unfortunately. Big fan of Susanne Bennet though.
