Everything worked great but I would buy a set of bulbs the one that comes with it is very dim

Bought this for a 2005 Acura TL due to one headlight not working, even after bulb replacements. This was an exact replacement for the factory ballast.

Purchased September 2023, failed December 2025. otherwise I'd rate 5 stars

I just installed these ballasts and igniters on my 294k miles Acura. I must say, they worked like the original OEM. The D2S bulbs are super bright and very enjoyable driving at night when I need a wide array of coverage. Installation was a breeze even taking off the bumper cover. I am a DIY mechanic so you can do it too. Parts were made of high quality materials compared to the outrageous dealership prices. I am very much pleased, thank you.

I had to order 2 of these for my cl9 headlights. They came in fast. But the product itself works only half of the time. Sometimes the ballast will fire off and sometimes they won’t. The times they do, they fire off this weird square look. You have to keep trying over and over to get them to work. Installation took forever as you have to take off your headlights and bumper. But these ballasts suck and really lack in all the places necessary.

I was extremely skeptical that this kit could replace over $300.00 worth of OEM parts, but with free returns, what did I have to lose? I bought this kit to replace my problematic passenger side system that got wet and died. Rather than troubleshoot one component at a time, I opted to replace all and hopefully be done with it. this kit was cheaper than getting the parts from a salvage yard! Installation was an exact fit, and works great. Hopefully is stands up to time. So far so good, works just as it should.

Affordable and quality. Can't speak to the longevity of this product just yet, but so far no issues!
