The flavor was right on, and the concentration was that of regular vanilla extract. I had hoped it would be a concentrated or super strong extract but I can see how it is easier to exchange in recipes at the current concentration.

This is a nice quality product. I use it for Dutch Babys, until I go back to reg Vanilla Extract. However, I also got this because a reviewer said they put it in Lattes to make it a French Vanilla. I heard the logic, but in reality - it's nasty. So, this has baking potential only. Kind of a nuttier flavor. Not nearly as strong on the Vanilla, so be aware.

I'm a 30 year old amateur baker. I make cupcakes quite often and I love to use french vanilla extra in the frosting because I think it has more/better flavor than regular vanilla. I once had Tone's brand and it was good but I can't find it anywhere anymore. My favorite I've found is Marsden & Bathe's which you can get on Amazon, but it is quite expensive. I was trying to find another good, more cost effective , french vanilla extract. I tried this one and unfortunately it really has a strong artificial taste/flavor to me. I'm pretty bummed, but I don't think I'll be able to use it and will probably end up throwing it away. Guess I will stick to my Marsden & Bathe--which people RAVE about my frosting when I use it--which I highly recommend.

This makes the very best French vanilla breves right in my own home. I add a little honey, and it far surpasses the chemical flavor of the high fructose corn syrup sweeteners used in the coffee kiosks. I haven't tried it yet in my French toast, but I can imagine it would be wonderful in anything! Please keep this in stock so I can order on a regular basis!!

I needed this vanilla for a cake. The cale was delish. The vanilla did the trick.

I like the lighter fragrance of this vanilla. I typically purchase a heavier scented vanilla such as Madagascar but wanted to try this for a lighter butter pecan flavored cake. So far I have used in some delicious chocolate chip/toasted coconut/ pecan drop cookies.
