Very bright
My very first LED plant light. So far it is working well. It is a bit heavy, but it comes well packaged and no assembly needed! Just hang it up and plug it in. It is extremely bright and the color given off is an eerie, pretty sort of purpleWhich the neighbors might wonder about. But the plants love it! I've had it about a month, running it nonstop and have had no problems. Does not get warm and the fan is very quiet. I'll be getting another one!

Deceptive advertising!!
I noticed it wasn’t very bright when I received it, so I test the product's AC input voltage. It showed 120.7V, a total of current is 0.706A, and total power 83.3W. Disappointed at the results, According to the product specs, the wattage is listed at 135W. So, my tests showed just half the wattage listed and that you are getting only half the output as advertised. I’m extremely disappointed!

ok for led but id go for more bang
its ok to grow small plants or for cloning but when it came to growing full size plants it was inferior to others out there my 90watt led did a better job for flowering and more coverage it was built inferior and poor placement of leds and it didnt put off much light wouldnt recommend this light buy a more expensive model or go with hps/mh

small coverage but explosive growth.
I have to suggest this light for ONLY 1 plant, keep it small. I am currently running one of the 125w cfl lights also in conjunction with 2 of these overtop of 3 plants. I started the plants out under only the 125W cfl, then added this. I saw explosive growth as is expected when you add doulble the light. I'm not totally sure if this thing is amazing or not yet, and only time will tell. I can tell you this it does light up and it does provide the correct spectrum of light. It Will grow things, and it works nice in conjunction with my cfls. my plants are only 1 foot tall and young still so we'll see if it still works out later in the process of things.

I'm very pleased with this purchase
I purchased this light two years ago and have run it 12 to 18 hours every day since. It has worked flawlessly. Not a single LED has failed and the thing is still crazy bright.I grow mostly herbs, orchids, and decorative plants under it. I place the sun-loving plants close and the others a bit farther away. On a pedestal 18 inches under the light I grow hydroponic herbs. Below the pedestal on a table top I grow orchids and indoor plants which I propagate for neighbors and friends. This is where I also start my vegetable seeds in the spring. The circle of plants illuminated by this light is approximately 5 feet in diameter.I'm very pleased with this purchase.

so far so good
I am so far pleased with the growth Im getting. The blackstar worked out of the box and is still functioning. This is my first time growing so I dont have reference to compare by. All I know is that my plants are growing. Once I get them flowering I will update my post. I have the same problem with the power cord. Also to note that the plant leaves are super green in normal light. I' ve had my blackstar 30 days Dec 8th.
