Firstly, this product is very well made, but sadly of a poor design. There is no "top" or "bottom" of the brace, so the part above the knee is the same diameter as the part below the knee. As such, below the knee, when the strap is sinched closed the material bunches up and causes discomfort. The diameter of the brace below the knee should be smaller than the diameter of the brace above the knee. It just doesn't fit well.

I am a 70-year old woman who has suffered with arthritic knee pain off and on for several years now. I have learned that digging in the garden seems to give me greater knee pain, but I love to garden. My knees have been better through the winter, but I was dreading spring when I would need to choose between gardening with knee pain or letting my yard and garden go to seed with less knee pain. I asked my brother, who has a different kind of knee pain, if he had any recommendation. He told me that no inexpensive knee brace had given him any relief, and he finally purchased a very special one for several hundred dollars. Realizing that our problems were quite different I took a chance on the comfylife knee brace, and have been very pleased. I can work in the garden for 1-2 hours per day, with no increase in knee pain. This is a true blessing for me. The brace is comfortable to wear, easy to use (as long as my pants are loose fitting), and allows me to continue one of my most favorite hobbies, and stay in my home with 1/2 acre lot for at least a few more years. I have 2 issues with this product:1. Size runs big. Even though I took measurements per the product specs, the size I ordered (medium) is too big.2. The straps would not stay in place. With little movement, both the upper and lower straps kept slipping. As shown in photos.Not satisfied with this product and will be returning.

I find the velcro annoying on this - and I hate that the back is not completely closed. Yes, the velcro should fit in and leave no space in the back of the knee - but the material is not comfortable. I prefer a Sleeve - but thought this would give me better pressure where I needed it while my meniscus heals. I was wrong -

I’ve purchased several knee braces from Academy Sports and they are so expensive, never really gave me the support I needed to workout. I’m in CrossFit my knees were hurting too much. I used this brace today for my 400m runs and I felt the pressure off my knees. I recommend to anyone having knee pains. It’s super comfortable. I have thick legs and the size Large fits perfect.
