Good kettle
I picked this for dad. I was looking for something that (1) was easy to fill; (2) worked on an induction stove; (3) whistled; (4) was of modest size but not tiny; (5) handle doesn't get hot and is not insecure; and (6) attractive yet understated. Then crossed fingers and hoped it wouldn't drip when pouring. It was a winner on every criteria. And it doesn't drip. The one vague annoyance was that it comes with instructions to never leave water in it; that is, to empty completely after each use. I think Dad does that and I'm sure it will help it last, but if it were mine I would not and if leaving water in it causes it to degrade I'd just live with that.

Nice, but doesn’t whistle!
Everything is as expected — beautiful color, shape, design, and it works — but this whistling tea kettle doesn’t whistle! I let it boil for several minutes just to be sure. Don’t have the energy now to deal with a return and seeing again if it works especially since I know someone who bought a different tea kettle and had the same problem! What’s the deal with the missing part of whatever that’s supposed to make tea kettles whistle? The quiet is nice when I don’t get back to the stove fast enough but I was looking toward having the kettle remind me that my water is boiling!

Bad design:Doesn't whistle for a long time & spout tip gets too hot to touch
It takes so long to whistle, which is so dangerous. It boils for ages. Then, the spout tip you have to touch gets so blazing hot it is impossible to flip it to get the water out. Cute but bad design all around.

The NEW color in kitchens!
Well, it's an attractive teapot. Biggest gripe is that when pouring the hot water out, the fitting is sticky and it kind of decides to go where it wants to. Yes, I even raise the spout. It's got a mind of it's own.
