It's perfect!
I just love this table/desk/stand! It's soo convenient to use it to work with a laptop sitting on a couch or in bed, or to use it as an end table to lay down and watch a movie. I like it that it has venting holes, so I don't have to worry about my laptop overheating. It fits my 15" MacBook Pro perfectly and would fit even larger laptops (I doubt about 17 inch models though). It's also very sturdy, looks good and just feels like a well-made product. What I don't like is the detail which is supposedly to be used as a mouse pad - it doesn't stay where attached (no matter how hard you try to fix it, it still rotates under weight). I usually don't use a mouse, so it's not a big deal for me.Switching positions is also a bit awkward - but once you get used to it, you'll have a very few common positions, and it won't take too much time to switch. Although switching is awkward, I think it's by design - the joints hold up very well to the weight.

Would recommend if you don’t change leg position often
This is a great little table to do my Zoom callsfrom a flattering angle and to work from bed occasionally.Pros:-lightweight-sturdy enough for a laptop-doubles as bed desk-very versatile-vented surface for laptopCons:-can’t be adjusted with laptop in place-adjustment is a bit cumbersome-2 hands needed for adjustment-hard to adjust with long nailsVerdict:It is a good riser if you don’t have to adjust the position often ( I recommend to mark your positions for adjustments) and if you want it to double as bed desk.If you only want to change your laptop position on a desk, I would look for a riser instead. Overall it’s a good little item.

Ergonomic Minded and Space Saving Solution for Varied Laptop Positioning
This is a well thought out product as it is space saving and allows the user to elevate their laptop so they can stand at a table to work or sit up on a sofa or bed and be effective and comfortable. It not only configures in several ways, but the added mouse shelf can be placed at the perfect level for the most ergonomic use. For added ease of use, at the juncture of each bar, there is a dial noting the degrees of the angle, so getting the product set up and level the first time every time is never an issue. It feels sturdy and stable.

Sturdy, but no instructions and difficult to adjust
Regarding durability, I think this is worth the price. Regarding ease of use, I think the adjustment mechanisms could be much better. I finally took this thing out of the box after ordering a few months back. It took me several attempts to get it adjusted to how I would like for lap use. I think it would be very easy to get a good adjustment for table-top use to use as a standing desk. It's nice not to have my laptop directly on my lap. I haven't figured out where or how to add the mouse shelf. A video would be helpful. It comes with 4 rubber 3M stickers, but it doesn't tell you where to put them. I guess on the tray base to keep your laptop from sliding? If you don't get the adjustment right, it's easy to tip over. I would pay more for a laptop desk that's easier to adjust. Some of the buttons get stuck and it's really difficult to move both sides at once.

Finally! One That Actually Works.
I have tried several laptop stands for working in bed. One was a fancy bamboo model I ordered from Amazon. It looked great but I just couldn't get it into a comfortable working position. This one is perfect! There are literally hundreds of possible positions and you can move the mouse tray to various locations. If I could improve anything, it would be to put a small lip around the mouse tray (I glued a mouse pad to it - but the mouse can still slide off) - and make the laptop tray lip a bit taller as my HP 17" laptop is angled on the front and has a rather large "open release" button there also. As other reviewers have noted, The legs and ratchets are plastic so not the sturdiest stand in the world - but works fine once you get it positioned.

Difficult to use
I have had this for a couple of weeks now. I ended up ordering a different one from a different company. This one is awkward and very difficult to use. I gave it two stars because it does seem to be sturdy metal and my 15.6 laptop did fit although a bit odd against the lip. You can adjust each leg by marked degrees but the buttons you have to push in are stiff and difficult to use to make the adjustments. You also have to push them pretty far in so if you have nails at all, you probably are not going to after this...Also each leg has 3 different places to adjust. All in all this was not for me at all and I would not recommend it. I purchased a much simpler but similar product from someone else.I tried to give this one to my husband but even he found it to awkward to conveniently use.

Just received it but absolutely love it. There are a large variety of ways ...
Just received it but absolutely love it. There are a large variety of ways to position it.I mostly wanted it to be able to sit on the couch and be on the computer at the same time. It is fantastic for that and is a vast improvement over sitting the laptop on my lap: it doesn't heat up my leg (or the laptop), when I move it stays fairly steady, It helps me sit more upright for my posture, the mouse tray makes using the mouse a breeze. It also turns a table into a makeshift podium for doing small presentations. My daughter was ill and I was able to lay in bed with her so she felt safe and was still able to sit up and be productive while she slept. There were two big factors in selecting this particular model: it is vented while many are not... extend the lifespan of my laptop and it has the mouse tray.Getting both sides to match can be a bit tricky but it does have indicators to help with that. I will be marking my favorite positions with sharpies to make it easy to go directly to where it needs to be on both sides.Very happy with this purchase so far.
