SteelSeries Arctis 7 Lag-Free Wireless Gaming Headset - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

First off i have to address nancy lee's review, either she must jave been revieeing the wrong product, or it is a completely false review. About it being too loose, they are adjustable. The quality elastic band has velcro you just detach, pull to desired fit and press velcro back down. As for the structure and strength, they feel the furthest from cheap compared to ANY headset Ive have used. They feel extremely high quality, and so freakin comfortable. The length of the mic is spot on perfect! You only want it to reach the corner of your mouth, not wrapped around your face, which may be the reason she hears her tongue moving around. I actually don't even extend my mic all the way out, but im a very small girl (more proof they're not too loose). Sound quality is good but i don't have much expertise in that area so i won't delve much into that. The only qualms i would have is, on ps4 pro, i cannot hear myself AT ALL, so i often wonder if im too loud/not loud enough or if the mic is picking up backround noise. The noise cancelling is insanely good, almost too good lol. I can't hear if someone is knocking on my door or things like that. I find myself constantly lifting off an ear to check. Another small thing would be how the over-ear speakers rotate. They spin just 90° to lay flat, which is kinda nice, and they are smooth in motion. Construction seems durable, very high quality imho, but I wish they had a locking feature. It can be a little annoying to need both hands, one on each ear, to hold them in place and set them down, because they spin so easily/smoothly. Overall they are great, amazing quality, and Im really impressed. Shocked I got them for the price I did ($99.99 at the time), they could easily charge much more.

This was a huge surprise for me. I have a Siberia 800 series wireless headset. Those became my favorite pair of headphones as it easily allowed me to plug my Xbox and PC into it via SPDIF to get the higest quality. I ended up reorganizing my office so that I couldn't plug both the PC and Xbox into the same unit. I decided the Xbox would get the Siberia 800 (because that's where I watch movies, play games mostly) and I'd invest in a new set for my PC.Because I don't play games on my PC as often as I do on my Xbox (I go back and forth depending where the games are), I didn't want to spend the same $250 I spent on the other headphones. The timing was great as the Arctis 7's had just come out. I ended up pulling the trigger, hoping that these would have half the sound/comfort quality the 800's had.I was blown away and here's why:+ Incredible Build Quality - better than the 800's+ Sound Quality is almost as good at half the price+ The in-headset voice-game mixer works well - it's crazy how well it can boost voices (I tested in youtube and heard the narrations increase and the background music decrease)+ The microphone is way better than the 800's (Important to me as I use these headphones to make calls for work from my PC)+ Very comfortable thanks to the elastic band at the top+ Retracting mic that goes back into headset (protects the mic)Here's where I think things can be improved for the next generation:- The headset charges over micro USB. I really like how the 800's have removable batteries for hot swapping- Sometimes, the processing that increases voice volumes using the chat mixer makes the voice very mid heavy - sounds processed- Software on PC could be a little better - allow for task bar icon to check battery life.At the end of the day, and having gone through many headsets when thinking about buying the 800's, I can say this is the best headset you can get in this price range. The sound quality is great, mic quality is great, and the build quality is great.

ill start this review by saying that the only reason i rated this 4 stars is because im kind of an audiophile and this headset doesn't touch some of the more expensive (~$300) headsets out there and i have high standards when it comes to tech BUT for the price this is hands down the best headset ive tried in this price range.BUILD QUALITY is solid. i expected it to be more flimsy then it is because of how the speakers connect to the actual metal head band but that definitely isn't the case. the elastic band has held is stretchyness (is that a word?) completely and is made out of good enough material that i doubt it will ever get stretched out or ruined if taken care of properly. even the way the mic slides into the headset seems smooth and well built. ive worn this headset during multi hour streams now and i have to say it is very comfy. earcups are very soft memory foam and the stretchy headband at the top makes it feel like your not wearing a headset at all.AUDIO wise like i said its lacking in some areas when compared to a headset twice the price but for the price range you get what you pay for. the virtual 7.1 surround just mushes the channels together and gets way too messy sounding but that's to be expected with just about any headset with DTS headphone X virtual surround. (which for some reason is the standard?) disable this and its a decent sounding headset to me. also has compression capabilities and a decent equalizer via steel series software.MICROPHONE quality is superb. i use voice commands in some of my games and my last headset i might of had to repeat the command a few times due to a crappy mic. this headset is crystal clear on my PC as well as my xbox one. i dont get anyone complaining of my mic being constantly on or any echoing or distortion at all on either devices which is hard to find in a headset nowadays in the PC headset market which brings me to my next topic.COMPATIBILITY its completely compatible with almost any device the way its setup. it uses a proprietary chord that it comes with that turns into a normal aux chord at the opposite end. the aux in on the headset as far as i can tell is simply a pass through (hook headphones up so others can hear too) and not an aux out. while this type of setup is kind of weird i do want to say it worked flawlessly. the chord that plugs into the headset for aux out tho weirdly setup was definitely proficient and felt like it had a solid connection that wont wear out easily. i will say that when i hooked it to my Xbox one controller the headset will actually power down. it doesn't use any power from the actual headset when hooked into an Xbox one controller (not sure of any other consoles) and this had me worried about sound quality and possibly if i would get the full potential out of the headset. but the sound was still nice and loud and clear sounding and the mic was still top notch. again weird but well what can i say it all worked rather well and when you think about it, its a plus because then your not wasting battery in your headset when playing Xbox.with all of this being said this is a solid headset and a steal for the price. easy to setup with a very good build quality and crystal clear mic. i would recommend it to anyone as a budget headset in a heartbeat.

Lo compre para usarlo con mi Nintendo switch mientras estuviese conectado a la tv. El sonido es muy bueno y el micrófono También, cumpliendo mis expectativas para jugar online y para sesiones de juego nocturnas y de madrugada sin molestar a los demás y con la comodidad de poder moverte libremente. La batería dura bastante y con sesiones de alrededor de 3 horas diarias me dura una semana la batería antes de tener que recargar (con la ventaja de que se puede recargar mientras se utiliza y sin sacrificar la movilidad usando una batería portatil). En cuanto a diseño son el mejor headset hacer a mi gusto por su diseño minimalista y en cuanto a comodidad a veces no notas que traes audífonos ya que cubren en su totalidad las orejas sin aplastarlas y la banda de sujeción los mantiene en su lugar pero distribuye eficientemente el peso. Vale cada centavo.Lo único malo podría ser que para conectarlo al Nintendo switch es necesario utilizar un cable de doble salida para el jack de audífonos de la consola y del receptor. (No es incómodo el tener que conectarlo y desconectado en la consola) y no poder utilizar el chat de esta forma inalámbrica mientras está conectado de esta forma.En general los arctis 7 y arctis 3 Bluetooth en mi opinión son la mejor opción para audífonos gamer a utilizar con un Nintendo switch. Tu elección dependiendo del tipo de jugador que seas.

The headset is designed for gamer's in Mind . So music is secondary with mid and lows with treble are crisp and clear. But bass is little not that punchy but still visible while listening.the audios is neat and clean and hardly out of distortion.Pro'sWireless range is good enough even when you move out of range it will beep and auto connect when you are in range.Battery is pretty decent and better as well. It will give at-least 10 hours of continuous or 16-20 hours of intermittent usage. Never tried 10hrs continuous which is really odd unless you are traveling so long.Analog input is cool and will enable to connect seamless devices including tv.Mobile connect wired to pc also possible with give 3.5mm to micro usb cable its not normal cable so need to ensure the cable is not lostSound in gaming is goodMic is pro with highest clarity as possible.Chat mix is coolCons:Mic button is so delicate . Es un excelente artículo, es casi lo que esperaba pero en mi caso no presté la suficiente atención a las especificaciones. Las almohadillas son super cómodas y el control de volumen es muy cómodo de usar y práctico, para cuando el juego está más subido que el audio del chat está fácil de modificar sin tener que meterte a las opciones del juego o al mezclador de audio de la computadora. La duración de la batería es muy buena, no sé con exactitud la duración lineal, pero en el mes que llevo con ellos solo los he cargado dos veces en usos casi diaria de una hora.La cosa que tengo que aclarar es que la conectividad de los audífonos NO es Bluetooth, por lo que no podrás conectarlos directamente con tu celular por si tenía la idea de hacer eso, que fue mi caso, funciona con una radio frecuencia emitida por un aditamento incluído desde el cual puedes conectar audio ya sea de entrada (por ejemplo el celular) y de salida (un sistema de sonido aparte).

I checked a lot of reviews, a lot of videos and did a lot of research before buying these. This is the best headset you can buy in this segment. The audio is very clear and very good. Bass is low and although i am a bass head, i found that bass causes you to get tired. I use these mainly for gaming and office and for that, they are great. The best infact. Microphone is awesome. Working is awesome. Charge lasts forever. Super easy connection. Just plug and play. And even after having 2 wireless receivers for my mouse and keyboard, wifi also on top of that, it works flawlessly without any interruptions.Its super soft and comfortable to wear. Can wear it for hours and the build is amazing. The cable mode can be used with phones if needed. I love it and i will recommend it to anyone who asks me for headset with boom mic.Thank you Amazon for half a day delivery!
