Ya can't beat it...
The time came for me to replace my other HP printer. And after speaking with an HP tech I came back to Amazon and started looking. The OfficeJet 3833 meets my needs and then some. I am a vet on disability & send faxes to the VA and others monthly. At $1 to 2.50 per sheet to fax, I definitely needed fax, scanner, & a decent printer. Having used HP product before, I stuck with them. It is super easy to set up, coming with both the power cable & phone cable. Some "starter ink cartridges" to get you going. Now to the fax. I thought that it was going to be hard to get the fax up & running being that no one uses faxes anymore (ahh other than the Veterans Administration). But was able to hook it up to my cable VoIP line without a problem (I through my cable co.). I think with unpacking and setting up was up and running in around 15 min. I am very happy with this buy. Like I said folks, ya can't beat it.

New printer is outstanding
So easy to install (even wirelessly) that even someone with little experience breezed through it. I hooked up my laptop and upon getting an app, even my phone. I used the CD-ROM that came with it as my internet connection was glitchy that day. I haven't tried the fax but set it up to my land line (yes, I still have one). All the other functions are working quite well. It is good to have a printer, copier, scanner and yes, fax machine. My last printer got fried by lightening. I tried everything I could think of to get it working and was even thinking of hiring someone to come out as I thought it was a bad router (except the router for everything else). Then a computer nerd friend suggested that I probably just needed a new printer and it was cheaper than a house call. My old Canon had bit the dust but the print quality on this new HP is so much better as is the print speed.

HP is not what it once was ! AND, cthey should be collectively ashamed.
I've had at least half a dozen HP printers (initial-~1978). They were reliable and did their job. HP NEVER introducedodd demands, requirements, or sick attempts to force OWNERS OF SAID PRINTERS to deal with their notions of special programs!I have wasted time on MORE THAN ONE OCCASION TRYING TO MAKE THIS SICK COMPANY UNDERSTAND THAT i cannot join their self-serving automatic ink program. My local electric company AND web provider are not able to maintain 100% contact with my office. That means that HP decides that I am somehow trying to deprive them of sales profits by disconnecting their monitoring of my ink use when my electric, or internet services fail.HOW DARE THEY SUGGEST I WOULD BOTHER TO STEAL A FEW CENTS FROM THEM!!! I have zero interest in their automatically installed (no ask, or info. before I purchased the printer) ink program. They claim the right to disable MY printer, in MY home office REMOTELY! I am then expected to plead for forgiveness so that I may "pretty please" use the printer I PAID FOR. They are thieves in this. My time has legitimate value AND no one has the right to suggest that I am a petty thief. Trying to contact that "right" person to correct such a situation is exasperating. Then what ? Would they like me to apologize for the problems of local electric services. Clearly these thieves assume all others are similarly dishonest.I have always bought HP ink as a choice. Their disgusting assumptions assure that I will not continue to do that. With luck the cheap printer will be destroyed by the "forbidden" ink. That will justify tossing out their garbage as equipment - and judgement.

I am super pleased with this inexpense HP AIO printer
I am super pleased with this inexpense HP AIO printer. The ink is also cheaper than the ink for my previous (more expensive) HP AIO printer and needs less cartridges. The only issue I had was it needs to be plugged directly into a wall socket, because it shuts down between prints when plugged into the surge protecting power strip. Not a big issue for me. I also did not have any luck trying to set it up for wireless printing, but I will try that again in the future. I would have given it five stars if not for the power cord issue.

Good printer for all
Wow this printer is so nice. Installing it isn’t that difficult if the instructions are followed correctly, setting it up with my laptop and my iPhone was pretty simple too. I got curious as to what I could print out from my iPhone so I printed out a picture I had saved a while back(a colorful space exploration picture since I wanted to test out the printers potential) and I was surprised that it did exactly that. It didn’t print out the bottom but that might just be that it was too long of a picture for the paper or something. To print something from the iPhone simply have the printer and the iPhone connected to a WiFi, select a picture, select the print option, and voila! I was curious as to what kind of printer I might be good in terms of usability. This one meets all my expectations.

Quick install, good connectivity, easy to use.
This pronter sets up easily and I was able to set it up without my computer. We had a similar printer by Kodak and had troyble with it constantly dropping the wifi connection, to reconmect we would have to connect with a computer, it was a pain.We have printed 120 different pages from cell phones, laptops, and a tablet with success and ease. This is also more compact and light than our previous printer and I just recieved my first shipment of ink. If yoy chose, you can sign up for instaInk and the printer sends a message to HP before your ink is out, and HP send your ink refils with a postage paid envelop to send your empty cartridges back for recycling, which I like. We wont run out of ink wothout ink already on hand, its affordable, AND the planet wont have the trash of all those ink cartridges in a landfil.
