VisibleDust Arctic Butterfly SL707 Sensor Brush (Without Lights) in Black Bag

As soon as I opened it up I noticed that a large number of brush bristles were severely bent backwards. This was the best part as it got much worse quickly. I put in a brand new battery and it wouldn't turn on. I checked battery placement and tried again. The motor moved very very slowly and then picked up speed. The plastic handle got extremely hot! (not warm). I turned it off and as I removed the battery I was lucky to not burn myself on it as it was scorching hot after only a few seconds of operation. What in the hell? Total piece of trash. Do not buy unless you're in need of a great campfire starter or maybe as a gag gift. If only I could give it zero stars.

I bought one of these brushes +-7 years ago. It came with a dust proof hard plastic case, as well as a leatherette one and still works beautifully.I ordered this one for cleaning sensitive optics. On delivery, I was saddened to see that costs have been cut. This product no longer feels as well made as its older counterpart. Nor does it come with the plastic case or batteries. It does the job but rather disappointing given the price!

it only had 5 reviews when I ordered it each corresponding to the number of stars it had (1 star number one etc). so it was leaving particles on the sensor. Anyways I got in touch with visible dust and they said it does not remove dust particles. I am returning it! the cheaper knock off with much more reviews supposedly cleans it.

Brush does not stay on wand well.

I've had one of these since 2007. For cleaning digital sensors, it worked well then and it still works well now. For frequent cleaning, I use the Giotto Rocket Blower but when that doesn't do the job on tenacious dust I use the Arctic Butterfly.After several years, the rubberized plastic on the handle and the case became tacky feeling. No matter, the thing still works fine. Remember to remove the battery cells between uses to prevent damage due to leakage.The downside of this device is the price. It's too expensive. The same type device is available for about half the price here on Amazon. Is the other devices as well made and effective as the Visible Dust? I dunno, I haven't used them. But given the price difference, you might want to give them a try.

In a matter of seconds this completely solved a long-intractable dust problem on my OM-D E-M5II, that had foiled the strongest blowers and built-in sensor cleaning for months. Very easy to use, but beware that the very brief instructions are written in grey on black on a glossy surface so don't miss the really important one to *not* spin the brush while in use - spinning simply shakes off any dust it has picked up.

The product works great... When you know how to use it and open it. It didn't come with instructions on how to use it and I had to look it up online. Also instruction would have helped to figure out how to open this thing. Beside that it works great.

Works as advertised, spins and lights up the work area when turned on. Overpriced but a good item if you don't mind spending a little extra for the extras like the case.
