Received what I was looking for.
This is the hardware that I was looking for to use with the Queen size bed frame Ian building. I have used these before and they perform very well.

As described.
These are heavy duty alright. It is important to note that the receiver end will require additional depth below the receiver to accommodate the hooks. This depth is not a part of the fastener itself and must be taken into account.

Time consuming to fit, but a gloriously satisfying tight brace.
These are a little time consuming to fit and require a bit of chisel or router work. I got them nice and flush. On my first test fit and with a slight tap of the mallet, the fit/grip was gloriously tight and sturdy. I used #8 head screws because #10 seemed to fit slightly proud of the bracket.

Work as advertise good construction
I used these on a spare bed I made from scratch. Minor issue with of the brackets being bent ever so slightly. I was able to remedy this myself. If you mount these brackets slightly below flush in the rails or head/footboards you are going to have a very difficult time connecting them. You are better off mounting the socketed brackets slightly proud.

Could use better quality control
These did the job, and once I got used to it I was able to make them work. The main problem was each piece was cut slightly different. Some were 6", some 5 7/8". My bed design was such that the rails had to line up with a certain feature. I didn't have 1/16" or 1/8" to play with. If my rails fell somewhere in the field of the post the variance wouldn't have mattered. Good hardware, bad quality control. I would use them again, maybe see if I could find a different maker, but if you are aware of the issue you can adapt.

Solid Fastener
I purchased this fastener to raise bed railings on a queen size bed to make room for storage under the bed. You'll need wood chisels to install it flush on the wood surface. You will also need wood screws that fit flush in fastener. This was a weekend project and I'm happy with the results.
