Great looking, comfortable boots. Excellent value.
I haven't gotten a chance to take these out on the water, so I'll be updating the review to outline their performance, but if what the other reviewers have said holds up, these will be excellent.I received the package quickly and the boots were packed very well. The additional felt interchangeable soles do not come when you order from some other sources so be careful. I was able to change out the soles with minimal effort, although I can see what some of the other reviewers talked about regarding the slight difficulty one can experience in doing so. Still, I'd rather them be a little more difficult to get them on so that they don't accidentally come off or become loose during use. These are very comfortable, great looking boots. I did a lot of research before purchasing these boots and cannot really see why you would pay more for another pair. The one exception might be going with the Patagonia guide boots if you're after the Vibram sole, or have narrower feet.Great job Korkers!

Great fishing boots!
These boots are lightweight and feel very good on my feet. Good ankle support, very stable. All around good boot. I typically wear a 10.5, so I ordered a 11. I wear the Neoprene Korker socks and a pair of wools socks in cold rivers and it’s a great fit. I do wish these boots had the quick cinch laces, but that’s not a deal breaker. Great Boots, so far.

Great boots, Expensive and returned
The concept is sound and I think it will work. However the spike attachment is another $65 dollars and I hit up against my comfortable budget. I bought rubber only boots and will go with that. If those slip then I will try crampons that I already have. I will say the boots are solid and I do recommend them but right now they are more expensive than Orvis which says a lot

Comfortable, ankle-savers.
I was leery of the swappable soles, but once on the water, they were worth their weight in gold. These fit much more comfortably than other wading boots I've tried. They feel like heavy hiking boots instead of some sort of moon boot. I ordered my standard shoe size and they seem to fit well with stocking foot waders and wool socks on. The swappable soles are great for when conditions change. I packed both with me on a backcountry fly fishing trip this weekend, using the rubber to hike around, and the felt on the slippery rocks. The ankle support probably saved me from a sprained ankle a couple times. The guys with me in rubber soled wading boots were jealous of the spots I was able to wade to.

In love at first step
I purchased these boots in accordance with the sizing chart. I am a size 10 regular, and purchased the size up with an 11. With my stocking foot wanders these boots were extremely comfortable.Opening if the package, the boot soles were felt lined, with the standard rubber to interchange.I pulled the felt off and replaced with the Rubber soles, I noticed a picture prior to purchasing where the sole had separated from the plastic mounting plate. So take to soles off back strap, pull down on each locking part, and pull the sole back. Opposite for installation. As for in the water experience, the boots were extremely comfortable and grippy. The river bottom translations from sand to rock to boulders. The soles managed to work out just fine. I should have changed into the felt just to test the grip, but there is always another day. When I exited the water, the boots blend the water, and were light as when I walked into the woods. These boots are supremely comfortable and supportive.I think the real test will be to see the difference in the soles. I have been looking at the Vibram tote, and as a Northern California fisherman, it’s over the mountain and through the woods before the trout are available. If your in the market for a good set of boots, don’t pass up these Korkers.

Best fly fishing boots ever!
I’ve owned many wading boots in my life and these are great. The fact that you can change your rubber soles and protect your felts are wonderful. I hike to the out of reach of all the lazy fishermen and get to remote locations. I’ve always had to wear another pair of shoes but now I just pop the rubber soles off and put the felts on and I love that.

Flex
The lack of flex in the heal area had the hard plastic sides rubbing ankle bones raw.

Greatly improved design
I brought my first pair of Kroger’s over 10 years ago, and the improved design of the sole is very impressive. I’ve only used them twice at this review, but the stability on the water is very noticeable. The interchangeably of sole design is very helpful. Fit is comfortable, but you do need to move up one size from your shoe size. D
