Niteangel Hamster House w/Climbing Ladder for Hamsters Gerbils Mice or Similar-Sized Pets (Trapezium-Shaped Hamster Hut)

After researching ways to help encourage our female Syrian to burrow, we decided to get this hamster ladder 'house' in conjunction with the Niteangel tunneling system. We used the elbow tunnel piece plus a long and short tunnel, and they all connect together perfectly! Our little girl took to her knew burrow system right away. She quickly took to sleeping in there right away and has designated one end to stash her food hoards. The ladder house and tunnels are roomy enough for her to turn around in, and she's pretty big. We're lucky that she'll sleep near the front of the burrow so that we can look at how cute she is. So far all the Niteangel products have worked great for us, and seem to be of really good quality.

Purchased alongside another niteangel house with a removable top. Wasn’t sure if he would use it for sleeping since it is a bit small inside, but my 7 month old syrian hamster loves it! He brings bigger treats in with him and still has plenty of space to curl up. He sometimes chooses to sleep elsewhere, but this seems to be the preferred spot.

I bought a bunch of hamster cage accessories from a video where a YouTuber assembled an incredibly enriching enclosure with them. My hamster is quite happy, he is a Beverly Hills hamster. NEW UPDATE: I had initially gone through Amazon to get this fixed. I ended up ordering another one with the return I received and it came to me in a hundred broken pieces. I returned that one and was resigned to just not get another replacement. Niteangel reached out after reading my previous review and offered to send a replacement free of charge! When it arrived it was carefully packaged, unlike the previous two times. My little hammy loves this bridge and I'm glad I received a replacement. Most of the items I buy for my hamster are by Niteangel just because I trust the brand and everything I've purchased thus far as been great quality. It seems my previous issue was solely on Amazon for trying to pass off a well used product and not packaging the items with any protection. If you're faced with a similar issue reach out to the seller instead of Amazon's customer care. It'll save you the headache.(old: Really frustrated with the product I received. This has obviously been used by another hamster before I received it. It's got chew marks on one side, there's the remains of a herb spray stuck to it and there's paper bedding fluff stuffed in-between the stair dowels. Plus one of the elephant's ears is broken off.)

Edit: After the original review was posted, Niteangel contacted me about the product. They have sent a new one and I do not have to send back the broken one back. Thank you so much, Niteangel! I should also mention that I have purchased several Niteangel products prior and have never had a problem. My 9 year old son cannot wait to rearrange his hamster's enclosure! Thanks again!!!This is a mess! I tried putting the pieces back together and did not have any luck. I am so disappointed!!

Very sturdy and well built. Appears solid and easy to clean as it's one piece. My dwarf hamster started exploring it right away and seems to enjoy it.
