Using a Mac laptop is ever a trip to Dongle Hell. I'd previously had three of this kind of adapter that I use for teaching to attach my Macbook to the classroom projectors or large-screen monitors, none of which functioned reliably. The Dynex, on the other hand, has performed flawlessly for years now.

Perfect fit
worked just like the expensive one from the apple store. No problem connecting my mac to an external monitor. Ordered two at this price just for the extra one.

Falls out of the port
Does what it should but does not plug in securely to the DVI port on my mac. Falls out a lot.

Needed a spare
I have an older Mac Book and do a lot of training. I realized I'd be out of business if I didn't have a backup connector. So it was so great to find this.

VGA adapter
The adapter was not the correct size for a 2009 Mac book pro. There was no indication on the description to indicate it was for the earlier models.
