Easy to charge and lasts as long as is posted on site. I bought 2 so there is a backup.

Why not included with light weight vest.
Not sure why we have to buy this battery instead of it coming with the vest. I bought the feather light vest but comes with old heaver battery. I feel it is a bit of a rip off to pay so much for the vest and then have to buy smaller lighter battery for another 80 dollars!!!

A bit expensive
Battery does not last long for as long as it takes to charge but it keeps me warm in the morning. Had to get a second to have warmth all day

New ORORO battery is 70-75% the size of old battery
It is misleading for ORORO to claim that it’s new battery is “40% smaller”. The new battery weighs 6.5oz while the old weighs 8.5oz. And the new battery has dimensions 2.5in x 3.0in while the old has dimensions 3.5 x 3.0in. ps. The new battery costs $80 while the old costs $70.

Don’t buy this !
Extremely dissatisfied with this newer and smaller version - I am small so the regular battery is a bit heavy - works great -I thought this battery would be an excellent product also - is not - takes forever to charge - been charging now for 8 hours and doesn’t last for even 2 hours - don’t buy it

short charge on max
Love the heated mittens but they only stay charged for 3 hours if I keep them on medium or low and manage the battery. I ordered another set of batteries so I could keep them on high and am guessing I can get roughly 4 hours of power on high with the 2 sets of batteries. I love that the heat goes right out to the thumb and fingers, these have a light liner of a glove on the inside so I dont wear my light weight wool glove liners anymore. My thumb still gets cool but no more freezing on my fingers/thumb. Wouldn't ski without heated mittens ever again!Note: I tried to purchase the extra batteries from amazon and the photo shows everything but the adaptor ports and when I got them they were the wrong ones so I had to return and found the correct ones with photo of the ports on the Ororo website and ordered them. They offered a 20% discount if you sign up for email so cost about 50.00 for 2 batteries.
