Husqvarna HU775BBC 22-Inch Mower RWD Self-Propelled 175cc 775 Briggs & Stratton Professional Series Engine with Blade Brake Clutch

I bought this for a Prime Day sale based on the "reputation" of the Husqvarna name. I bought it for my grandmother so I could mow her lawn. Turns out this mower was a huge lemon. It functioned for maybe 3 or 4 mows before it stopped working. Turns out the fuel filter for European clean emission standards makes this mower completely unreliable. When I called Husqvarna they told me they couldn't help me because they didn't make the engine. Briggs and Stratton wouldn't help either other than tell me to buy expensive $10 half litter gas from Husqvarna. Shame on you Husqvarna. You piled this on Amazon's site knowing you had a lemon that was nonreturnable. That's shady.

More lawn mowers need to be like this.It's difficult to find lawn mowers with the clutch activation lever so you can step away from it. Also, has a great engine speed control lever for when you need to slow down the motor if you need to talk over it.Pros:Clutch activation leverWheel propulsion lever is in a convenient spotHas a mulching bagHas all the power one needs. It handles small piles of leaves well.Cons:The side discharge door is a bit difficult to get to lock down. Spray some lubricant on the lock and clear out excess clippings, no problems after that.

The mower itself is not bad, but the engine failed after 3 months. From what I read in the warranty details, the engine is not covered since it's not manufactured by Husqvarna. Can somebody let me know how can I get warranty service for the Briggs & Stratton engine?

At the time, I bought this on sale for $300 for Amazon's Prime Day Sale.It has a flimsy blade brake that will break with a little resistance, and mine did. After I replaced the blade brake with one from another model (it cost me $30), this mower is great for that price. I probably would have been disappointed if I had paid $400-$500 for it.

Have had it repeatedly serviced and it keeps missing cutting grass every couple of feet. Have had to replace the rear wheels twice.

Shipped within 2 days no problems. This was a housewarming gift for my son, so it was not given to him right away until he was in his home. I used it the first time without any problems. The second use the little lever that secures the safety bar broke and the 3rd use the actual safety bar broke and now it will not work. Unfortunately , the return date has expired for Amazon so now we must locate a dealer and hope it will be under warranty .

best lawn mower ever purchased. plenty of power, only problem is keeping up with it when drive engaged.
