I have to be completely honest. I am not a big survival nut, but I do know the importance of being prepared for any circumstance that may arise. You can only plan for things you are able to think about, but you never know precisely what life is going to throw your way. Though the design is simple in nature, it truly is a great start to surviving in the harshest of environments and circumstances. You can never underestimate just how valuable fire really is in a survival situation, and this is what you need to make fire, and then some. You have a working compass that will guide you wherever you need to go, a whistle that you can use to draw attention to yourself to be rescued if needed, and parachute cord that can be used for a variety of things, the choice is yours. For the price they are selling at, and the quality of the product you get, there can be no other choice. 10/10, would certainly recommend to anyone and everyone.

It was love at first sight. So simple, versatile, and easy to use and such a good deal. But there are glitches. The rope is nice and sturdy, so sturdy it keeps unraveling. (That is why I had to buy another one. I lost the magnesium stick). The compass starts to be a little temperamental. Sometimes you have to shake it like a thermometer to get it to flow easily. Still a good deal though.

These have been pretty good for my 72hour kit. The only problem is, is that they are quite thin and so I know they will not last for a long time.
