I had to buy a battery. It has a really cheap bracelet.

The watch is gorgeous and it's a pretty big size which makes it look like a boyfriend watch but it's given 3 stars because the watch did not come ready to wear. I noticed when I was setting up the watch that the seconds hand was not working n soon realized that the watch did not have a battery.. Not cool.

Habe mir die Uhr abgeholt voller Freude aber sie ging nicht !Also zum juwelier eine neue paterie und das Armband kürzen 20 Euro ! Wieder einmal enttäuscht! ! Würde ich sicher niemanden empfehlen😢😦😩

This is my 2nd AUGUST Steiner watch and I already was aware that it comes with a longer wristband. This watch is even more lovely than the last.For those who don't like the longer band. Any jeweller or watch store can EASILY REMOVE the extra links.

The watch is beautiful. However, the instructions to set the date and day were incorrect. I tried calling August Steiner a few times (the number was provided on the warranty card), but I was unable to speak with anyone. The recording stated that their hours were Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00 and that they were currently closed. I was calling at 2:00 pm on a weekday, and it was not a holiday. I eventually figured out how to set the date and day, and it seems to be keeping time and working properly. Five stars for Amazon for delivering quickly (even though the watch was initially not in stock). The overall four stars was for August Steiner not providing correct instructions and their customer service for not answering their phone. UPDATE ON MARCH 30 2017: The metal on the inside of the band is corroding, and causing an allergic reaction to my wrist. No other watches have done this, so it must be the type of metal that was used for this watch. Too bad, because I paid a decent price for it, although it is now offered for less than $30.00. Perhaps this is why.
