Watch battery dead on arrival
This gorgeous watch is the perfect addition to my collection! My one complaint is that it does not function! I set the time but it doesn't tick; this is super irritating. I'm not sure why I received a defective watch, and will return it if I'm not able to get the issue resolved through a local jeweler. I would have given 5 stars.

I'm too small for this watch
This watch looks nice in the picture but when it arrived it seemed too oversized for someone of my small stature. Also, although I like leather straps, this one was wider that what I usually wear and caught on anything with which it came in contact. I'm sure someone would love this watch. It just wasn't for me.

Nice watch!
I'm going into nursing & needed a watch. I wanted one that was water resistant (this watch has 1ATM engraved on the back; which means it's water resistant), easy to read, had all numbers, date, and a second hand. This watch fit the bill. It even has a pretty [real] leather strap. The strap is a white/pearl color & has kind of an iridescent cast to it. Overall this watch is gorgeous, and for $12 bucks (amazon warehouse deals) I'm a happy camper.

Love the look and decided to try it again
Ordered it twice. I had to return the first one because a few crystals fell out after wearing it once. Love the look and decided to try it again. The second has worn well thus far.

If you want a watch that works, try a different brand
I purchased two August Steiner watches. One from Amazon and another one from another dealer. Neither watch would start. If you try to get a hold of the company you will be placed in a never-ending circle of connections that really never connect to anybody live. The watches do look nice, all they have to do is work.
