A couple months ago, I decided to purchase a new pillow for myself because my old one was causing me neck and back pain. I typically purchase cheaper king-size pillows for myself because I didn't really know if I wanted to spend a lot of money on a more expensive pillow and if the benefits would outweigh the costs. My old pillow was starting to get flat as well and I was about to head to a local store and purchase another inexpensive pillow when I thought, why not see what I can find on here for pillows? I did a TON of research and mainly looked at memory foam pillows because many people seem to like them. I had it narrowed down to two pillows and, even though the other pillow was a bit cheaper and seemed to be more popular, I chose this one because overall, it seemed like a better pillow for side sleepers, which is what I am.The Snuggle-Pedic Bamboo Shredded Memory Foam pillow is a luxurious, eco-friendly pillow made for all sleepers from back to side to stomach to pregnant. The filling is made of 100% shredded polyurethane foam and the cover is made of 43% viscose of bamboo, 56.4% polyester, and .6% lycra. A lot of pillows go flat after time, which is what always happened to me with the cheaper pillows, but memory foam is never supposed to go flat. The shredded bamboo memory foam is supposed to conform to your head and neck and then fluff back up to its original shape when you wake up and are no longer using the pillow. This pillow is made with a Kool-Flow Micro-Vented Cover meant to keep you cool all night so you don't sweat as much. It is also hypoallergenic and dust-mite resistant. The pillow is made in the USA in Southern California and comes with a 20 year warranty.Washing instructions are as follows: machine wash cold with minimum agitation and make sure the washing machine load is balanced, hand wash recommended over top load washing machines, can be tumble dried using a high-heat setting, do not use chlorine-based bleach, do not dry clean, and do not iron. You can also throw the pillow in the dryer for 20 minutes every so often to re-fluff it and soften the material (care instructions are included in the packaging and I'd recommend reading them carefully to ensure the longevity of your pillow).I purchased the king-size pillow since I've gotten used to that size ever since we bought our king-size bed years ago. This pillow is the same size as the other king-size pillows we own so it will fit your regular king pillowcases. In order to prevent staining on my new pillow from myself, my kids who like to jump on our bed, and my cat who think my pillow is the perfect bed (it actually is big enough for both of us!), I also purchased  Zipper Removable Pillow Cover by Snuggle-Pedic - Kool-Flow Luxurious Bamboo Material - All USA Made (King Size) , which has been a great purchase as well.I cannot tell you how excited I was for my new pillow to arrive. I'd never used a memory foam pillow before and I was thrilled when it arrived! Imagine my surprise though when the box it arrived in was a medium-sized box and I was afraid my new pillow was delayed. You'll want to note that the pillow is vacuum-packed so it can ship more easily. When you open the box, it will be rolled up and I've included a picture of this so you aren't surprised either. Carefully cut the plastic wrapping off to make sure you don't cut into the pillow. The pillow will immediately start to fluff up on its own but you can speed up the process by putting it in the dryer. Our dryer isn't the most reliable so I only put this pillow in the dryer for 7 minutes on high heat and watched it like a hawk. It came out even more fluffed up! At first, when I cut open the plastic, it had a new smell similar to a new car smell and that went away after a day or so.That night, I was even more excited to go to bed so I could test out my new pillow. The first time I laid my head down on it, I couldn't believe how comfortable it felt! It was like the pillow was made specifically to fit me because, even right away, it felt very supportive. I knew the true test would be how I slept because with all of the new pillows I've owned (remember, they were the cheaper ones), they always started out very fluffy and I had to adjust to them. For many days after using those pillows, I would wake up with a sore neck until I eventually broke it in. With this pillow, there was no breaking it in. The next morning, I woke up and thought, I slept so well and didn't wake up once! That alone describes how comfortable this pillow is. I've owned this pillow for almost two months and every night has been much the same, with the exception of getting woken up by one of our kids.Another amazing thing about this pillow is that it has a Kool-Flow Micro-Vented Cover which helps keep you cool all night long. I can attest that this is true. With all of the other pillows I owned, regardless of the season, I would sweat at night and mostly on my head so I would wake up with my hair and pillow sweaty. With this pillow, it has kept my head cool and I rarely wake up sweaty, which probably also has to do with my sleeping better.Like many people, I get stressed out at times and tend to carry my stress in my neck and shoulders. With my old, cheap pillows, I used to wake up in so much pain that I could barely move and get out of bed. It hurt so much and would take days to make the pain go away. During the two months I've used this pillow, I've still been stressed and my back hurts occasionally during the day but I have NEVER woken up in pain. I can't tell you what a relief it is to be able to wake up, get out of bed to help my kids get ready, and go about my day without being in so much pain. Who would've thought a pillow would be so amazing?!?!?!?!I'd like to summarize this review by stating that, if I haven't yet convinced you to purchase this pillow, let me say this. Ever since I purchased this pillow, I have slept better, felt better, and woken up happier than I have been in a long time...mostly because of this pillow! I don't even have any major neck or back problems and this pillow has helped me immensely. It is so comfortable and I look forward to going to bed at night! It keeps me cool at night and has been one of the best purchases I've made. I, too, was hesitant because of the price but I will tell you that you won't regret it. I've told my mother-in-law about this pillow and she is extremely interested because she needs to get a new pillow as well. So, if you are on the fence about purchasing this pillow, you won't regret it. The cost is higher but the benefits for me have been so worth it! There are a few different sizes available but I love my king-size pillow because it's so big and I love to sprawl, much to my husband's dismay. Because this is a more expensive item, I will periodically update this review and adjust my star-rating if my opinion on this pillow changes. For now, I VERY highly recommend purchasing this pillow! Ok. So here's the deal. I have some chronic upper back pain extending into my neck, along with some chronic sinusitis. I have major trouble falling asleep and then if I do fall asleep I wake up frequently from discomfort. I am also a night nurse and put a lot of strain on my back at work. So based on the reviews and also based on the reviews of their customer service, I ordered this pillow a few months ago to try it out. It arrive one evening after I had left for work. My husband texted me that we received a package but it was a roll of something in plastic wrap. I remembered seeing this in the reviews, this is how the pillow is shipped. So I told him to unwrap it and leave it on my side of the bed to air/fluff out over night. I could hardly wait to get home to try it. I got off work and showered, when I went to crawl into bed I grabbed a pillowcase to put on my new pillow...which was not on my side of the bed. My old pillow was there. My husband had stolen my new pillow! he fell right asleep on it with no pillow case. The cover is extremely soft so this is definitely an option. as for comfort I could not say because my Husband refused to surrender it. I tried it out one weekend when my husband went out of town and while it was very soft and felt great, I felt like it had too much stuffing and kept my head too elevated.So I contacted the company and asked them about this. They responded very quickly and over several emails told me that they could re-make the pillow for me and have it customized to my liking. They were willing to work with me to help me get the best pillow I could. I give their customer service alone 6 stars.Well I decided I would have to order another one for myself. I waited longer than I wanted to but I got busy and forgot. I am currently in San Francisco for a travel nurse assignment and the place they have me staying...well, lets just say the pillows are not super awesome. 2 are very flat and 2 look super poofy but fall flat as soon as you lay on them. Over the past month this has not helped my pain nor my sleeping issues. So I was browsing and came across this pillow. I remembered how much my husband loved it and I wanted to try It out. I also had an amazon gift card that needed to be spent! :) I ordered it same day delivery and for some reason 4 days later I still had no pillow. I was disappointed but I contacted Amazon and they quickly mailed out another one. I received it early one morning just after I had returned to the apartment from work. I was just about to crawl into bed when I heard a knock at the door. I went to look and saw a small rectangular box. I was very excited as I already expected the pillow to be shipped like this. I felt like a kid on Christmas opening it. ****I fully intended on taking pictures to post with my review**** but I was so excited and then after opening it from the plastic wrap I was mesmerized at how it went from flat, like completely flat to super fluffy pillow! Now I know I was supposed to let it air out all day while I slept and then all night while I worked and sleep on it the next day. But...I couldnt wait. I laid down on it and had THE best sleep i have had in awhile. I slept the whole day with out waking up multiple times. My pain is still present but not worsened like it normally is when I wake up. I LOVE my new pillow. I dont recall noticing any odd smell from it though I was probably distracted by actually sleeping for once. I have now been sleeping on it for almost a week, has it been that long?, yes it has. anyway, I still love it. I am writing this review at work right now and I am counting the hours left till I will be back in bed and resting on this amazing Pillow!!!If you are on the fence about ordering this pillow...Here is my advice: Order it!!! How many pillows have you already wasted money on? Exactly. Yes, you could hate this pillow; but then you could return it for free and mark another pillow off the list and move on to the next one to try. That's the good news! Or you could ask the company to re-make the pillow for you to your liking. They are the best customer service I have ever dealt with. Actually they are they only one I ever enjoyed talking to. Or you could fall in love with it when it arrives like i did! Either way you go its a Win-Win situation. You really can't lose here. Last comment before i go, I am 28 years old and an Amazon junkie. lol. big time. this is the first time ever in the past 4 years of using amazon, and the past however many years iv been buying products in store/online that I have ever, EVER written a review. So that should say something. I really cant wait to get back to my pillow and sleep. I feel i also need to reference my title...this pillow is so amazing that im convinced it is made of unicorn magic because i never thought i would find a pillow i love, till now.

TL;DR: This amazing pillow cured the daily neck pain I had been suffering from for the past 6 years, buy it now if you have neck pain and haven't tried memory foam pillows!Long version with background:I am a 23 year old who now works full-time as a software developer. For the past 6 years, I have spent about 10 hours daily, 7 days a week, in front of a computer: college computer classes and assignments, a part time data-entry office job to pay for those classes, and now a programming job after graduating. For these past 6 years, I woke up daily with a stiff neck and dealt with neck pain throughout the day; it would get worse if I sat still for longer periods of time, which was something that was inevitable with my lifestyle. I do try to move my neck around once every hour, but it doesn't help much. I also have weights at home and have been doing dead lifts and shrugs almost daily for the past 3 years, along with other exercises. Those help with the pain, but only temporarily. I figured that as long as I kept spending so much time in front of a computer every day, this was something I had to live with.I had been switching between two plain lumpy pillows and one soft one for years, but none of them made any difference for my neck pain, so I didn't think the pillow made any difference; I was so wrong. Last month, I happened to see a memory foam pillow in a deal of the day (it was for a different brand that I forgot). It caught my interest and I did some research into these pillows, and I read lots of reviews saying how these pillows really helped people who had sleep apnea and wore CPAP masks. While the causes were entirely different from mine, I figured pillows that help with stiff necks would still have some benefit to me. I went with Snuggle-Pedic because it is made in the US and they have amazing refund/warranty terms that show they are confident in their product. I haven't tried any other memory foam pillows before, so I don't know how other brands compare to this one; they might be just as good, but I will require a lot of convincing if they say they can be better.The first night I used it, I woke up the next morning feeling strangely uncomfortable... it actually took me a few minutes to realize the weird feeling was the feeling of not having a stiff neck along with neck pain first thing in the morning, which was what I had gotten used to after so many years. Just switching to this pillow magically cured the neck pain I had suffered from for so many years! The second and third day were a bit worse and I actually got a sore neck instead of having the usual stiff neck pain, but I am certain that was just my body getting used to the pillow because the soreness went away along with all of my neck pain after that. I have now been using this pillow for exactly a month and the morning neck pain has not reappeared in any way. My neck only gets a bit stiff at the end of long days at work, but a bit of stretching fixes that right up.Other notes: I haven't changed my sleeping habits at all; I use this pillow the exact same way I have used my old ones all these years. It also doesn't feel very different from my other lumpy pillows when laying down on it. The material the cover is made of is soft and smooth and the filling inside is just lumps of foam that you can mush around to shape it however you want. The conclusion I have come to is that the pillow is probably filled with magic foam that heals all who lay on it (disclaimer: I haven't opened the pillow to verify this). Also, the feeling of discomfort caused by not being in discomfort anymore on that first day is a feeling I don't think I will forget any time soon.If your situation is similar to mine (job without much neck movement and still using plain pillows, or just neck pain in general), I definitely recommend getting this pillow. It is well worth the cost, considering how you will get to enjoy daily comfort for years. I also see some reviews where people got the pillow at a discount in exchange for an honest review; I paid full price for mine and would not have regretted paying even twice as much for something this great.

This is the best pillow I’ve ever had. Woohoo!It solves a lot of my sleep problems. Amazing what having a quality pillow or two can do! Now if I can just find the perfect mattress…

No more squished flat pillow! It keeps its shape, and it actually does seem to help with cooling. I find that I'm not flipping my pillow over multiple times during the night, nor am I constantly fluffing it to get more support.
