Great bit of kit
As expected

I mean, yeah it works, whacha expect lol.
I mean, it does what it's supposed to lol. It's slightly clumsy but once you get the hang of it, it basically protects your DSLR from the elements. Though, I suppose as unavoidable as it is, it is kinda difficult to use the actual camera once it is on, but hey, just like my equipment, it's on a budget, and it's the photographer's skill that counts, so I'd say it works well enough for the job, and yeah it fits even the bigger lenses like 55-300. And yes it's easy to fold away as it's basically just a plastic bag so you can just carry it in your pocket and whip it out once the weather decides to ruin itself.

Use of the JJC camera rain waterproof cover
I have used this cover at the Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to avoid the moisture from the spray as much as practicable and it worked fine. This was in addition to a CPL filter too.As it is a transparent sheet you can easily see and feel the back button focus if need be, etc

Thin Basic Rain/Dirt Cover at Fair Price - OK for Initial / Emergency Use
This cover is OK for light use. It comes in different sizes (for different length lenses - best to get right length). It's portable, compact and will work well enough initially, but might be thought of as a quasi 'disposable' item unless used carefully. It's pretty thin and potentially easily torn. I had a tougher rain sleeve that didn't stand up well to abuse, so I'm not expecting this to last many use occasions without tearing/damage. But, as a standby for 'emergency' use it could be helpful. I'd recommend trying (carefully) first in dry conditions so that any operational restrictions are better understood before needing to use it in a live situation. Value: The price for just a 'bit of polythene' is a tad excessive. For sure someone is making quite a good margin on this sleeve. You could DIY a poly wrap with simple poly sheeting (eg as used for DIY/building/decorating etc). That wouldn't be quite as easy and might unravel or blow about in wind. But, this sleeve could just save your kit (probably expensive) once or twice, from excess damage, so in the context of occasional or 'emergency' use it's not unreasonable IMO. In Use: I have used it in heavy rain and it worked OK. My cam body and lenses are supposedly water resistant so perhaps this was unnecessary overkill. But, in heavy rain, it just felt prudent. It might be useful in other harsh environments too (flying dirt, sand and saltwater spray, powder paint dust etc). Handling: Main downside is it's difficult to operate any controls. Especially on a lens barrel (eg manual focus, aperture, switches etc) due to very limited hand access (under sleeve). Attempting to focus from outside sleeve would be near impossible too as sleeve would just corkscrew a bit, tighten and inhibit any meaningful focus rotation. Maybe small lens push switches might be easier? Don't even think about trying to change lenses! Whilst not strictly impossible (with sleeve fitted) lens changing if ever attempted, wouldn't likely be a mistake you'd repeat. Body control is a little easier, but not easy. Consider making a small hole to attach an eyecup on outside of sleeve to view - as any proper examination of a rear screen display will be severely compromised. Hand held operation is def. tricky with this cover fitted vs no cover. Camera support on a monopod or tripod might make body adjustments a bit easier, but there isn't a good way to attach a support without seriously risking snagging the polythene base. But as water/dirt tends to fall down (gravity) that may not be a problem - at least for initial mounting. Why Have: Yet, in some situations, you might be grateful to have had it available. I later shot a beach Motocross event without this and wished I'd packed it. I spent ages properly cleaning fine sand particles from my o-ring sealed camera body and lens (outside), so I wish I'd packed it and used this then. My kit is now 100% fine but if there is a next time, then I'd def want something like this.

All good
All good - works well

Not great for a dslr with zoom,
Very impractical for a dslr with zoom lens, essentially it's a big clear bag, the problem comes when you use the zoom.

Ottimo!
Nella confezione ci sono due buste con un laccetto da fissare all’ottica della macchina fotografica. Molto utili per uscite con pioggia, fango o sabbia. Comode da utilizzare, non danno fastidio con l’uso delle ghiere e dei tasti
