Wenger Lightweight Spinner Luggage Collection

Still haven't used it since I purchased it for an upcoming August trip to South Africa. They warned us to bring soft sided, very lightweight luggage with a combined weight of 32 lbs. for luggage and contents. That's quite a tall order for a 2 week trip, for me at least LOL. Anyway, this luggage is light as a feather, appears to be pretty sturdily built, holds a ton of stuff and got previous great reviews. So, after my trip, I'll report back. Pretty sure it'll live up to my expectations.UPDATE 2/6/2015: Luggage worked out GREAT! Held everything I needed for the 2 week trip to South Africa in August, was very easy to handle, came back looking like new and can't wait to use it for another 2 week trip, this time to New Zealand, at the end of the month. Has separate compartments, inside and out, that I used to hold a lot of stuff. The mesh one inside was very helpful and the outer ones held a ton of things within easy reach. Great buy and will now be my "go to" luggage.

I really like this suitcase. It is very lightweight and you can fit a lot into it without it being overweight. The suitcase spins 360 degrees so it is easy to lug around the airport. It generally travels well, but my carry on size that I haven't used as often has a stuck wheel. If it wasn't for the stuck wheel I would've given this product five stars. I don't have those issues with my larger suitcases and they have held up well. My largest suitcase that I use most often has gotten dirty from handling at the airport, but nothing has been torn or broken after several trips.

Best review I can give on this bag. So I purchased this bag for my girlfriend, we take many small adventures and like so many try to save money where we can. We needed a bag that was large enough to accommodate for what she would bring on a 4 day max trip (which any bag is never large enough) and needed to be able to be brought on as a carry on. This bag was just that, the bag is large enough to fit what my girlfriend needs, of course I might have to take some of her stuff in my bag, but with so much room in the bag it allows for most of her belonging to fit inside. Now we have caught many small puddle jumper plane (smaller planes I know that can not be the actual names) and the over head is never large enough, even for a backpack much less this bag, but we have never come into problems with the bag, The wheels are sturdy and even rushing through LAX to catch a plane the wheels made it easy for her to pull the bag behind. My only complaint is that, I have an older swiss bag and the front most pocket was a larger pocket and I kept more inside (dirty clothes on the last day so not to touch any clean clothes) and this front pocket is a 1/4 of that size, it will fit a shirt and underwear if needed, but thats nit picking the bag and the quality is sturdy and my girlfriend has had many compliments on the bag, yes a bag, by other that they want one just like it, it does not get heavy on one side and tip over and the handles make for easy throw in the over head and the zipper are large and sturdy as well. They have changed the picture since I ordered the black bag (maybe because I complained when I got it). It was pictured with 2 inset wheels (like the gray picture) but came with 4 outset wheels. It's also a little bigger than anticipated (mostly because of the wheels, but also because the pockets stick out in the front). I can tell that it would only fit in large, roomy overheads. I kept it because I did not want to pay for the return shipping. It IS an awesome bag if you expect what you're getting. I traveled with it recently for the first time and did love the experience. It weighs almost nothing on its own, and when chock full of books (teacher) it still felt weightless and glided like a dream, turning smoothly as I navigated around people and turned it 90 degrees as I stepped on the escalator. It makes you feel like a sexy traveler for sure.For my weekend trips, I ultimately ordered the "travelon 18" underseat" bag (on amazon or wayfair, I forget which). That bag will fit in any overhead. It fits under the seat if you're in a 2- or 3-seat row. I say this because it spills 1-2" into the underseat space of the person next to you. If that person has a small bag, or if you're traveling with a companion, it's fine. Either way, it fits in the overhead, if that's what you're going for. No airline personnel will stop you from carrying on THAT bag. If THAT's what you're looking for, go buy THAT bag. :) If you have lots of overhead room or don't mind checking, then this bag is a good choice.

I've had this luggage since 2014 and it has held up great! It has a few scuff marks from airport handling but after many trips all the zippers function perfectly, the handle is sturdy and still functions as intended and the wheels move freely and are sturdy. It is quality luggage and not flimsy in build, very sturdy body in parts. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase esp after 5 years of wear and tear. I've always been able to fit a weeks worth of clothes in it, although I also take a carry on as well. I highly recommend the brand based on my experience.

I ordered this luggage after seeing the dimensions listed on amazing. It just fit the regulation dimensions for my airline's checked luggage! However, these dimensions listed are completely incorrect.Add an extra 3.5 inches to the length for the spinner wheels (which after calling the airline I fly with, are included in the measurement) and an extra inch to both the width AND depth. This is measuring the bag with nothing inside of it! Keep in mind packing will make the bag expand a little. If you are planning on checking this bag at a major airline, this will put your checked luggage into the "oversize" category by at least 5 inches! The dimensions listed on the website will not put your bag over. The dimensions in real life will. Be extra careful when purchasing this product if you don't want to pay ridiculous oversize fees at the airport! That's an extra $175 fee per flight for the airline I fly. With 5 flights scheduled in the next 6 weeks, that adds up to a lot of money due to the incorrect information listed on amazon. I'm sending this back immediately and never using this seller again. Please be careful when looking at the dimensions!

This is exactly what I needed. A cabin sized suitcase with a couple of external pockets.There was a pleasant surprise as well. When I opened it, I found a nice zipped washbag attached to the inside by pop studs. I have found this to be so useful since I got it. It is the attention to detail and exceptionally high quality which makes Swiss Gear luggage better than all the others. It is the only brand I would consider buying.

Brilliant suitcase. Been searching for this size for ages as not so easy to find. Holds loads. Now own various sizes and all bought from Amazon.Used to have Samsonite suitcases in the past but WENGER is the bees knees. Light and really sturdy - cases been bashed and flung about no doubt going from A to B on flights - but no damage and wheels intact. Really easy to steer. Can't think of any negative to report.Seller was very good: contacted me regarding slight colour difference to image shown, more of a silvery grey, actually prefer it! Fast despatch and delivery for a nominal charge. Price was good too, seen the same size case for tens of £££s more on other websites. Five star buy.

Amazing light weight travel luggage which can easily accommodate travel essentials for 3 to 4 days very easily..... Happy with the purchase and also with amazon for its prompt delivery....

This completes my set - it sits inside the 29 inch which helps with storage. I think I will use it more than the 29 inch which is a massive suitcase - the 24 inch is more manageable for a short woman! It is light yet sturdy and the four wheels are excellent for movement - the case just glides along.
