Steam Controller Skin - CSGO Grey Camo

Not sure why all the bad reviews but this is a pretty high quality skin especially for the price. Easy to apply/reapply and I'm not really good at applying these things. :)Fits perfectly and looks great without compromising functionality. Great feel as well. I added some pics as it is hard to find them on the Internet it seems.

I had to apply this to my steam controller myself (I did not realize it was a sticker when I ordered it). However, the sticker is extremely fool-proof and easy to remove if you apply it in the wrong location. It really looks great on my steam controller and after the 30 minute frustration of applying it perfectly, I would say it was worth it!

DISCLAIMER: My images show carbon fiber touchpads that DO NOT come with this kit.I absolutely loved this skin. It gave my controller personality and a nice matte feel in my hands. Unfortunately, just over a year of use, it has started peeling. I would show you the grips, but that part peeled so much that I decided to just take it off (it isn't really visible while playing anyways). Now, I know I've had it for a year, but that really doesn't cut it. I understand these are essentially stickers and obviously controllers have a lot of contact that would cause them to rub off. But Valve should understand this too. I was very careful with this controller considering I don't think I'll ever be able to buy one again. That's why I got the protective touchpad stickers. Valve should have used a stronger adhesive for this skin. The material (likely some kind of soft vinyl) feels really quality and I love the texture it puts on your controller, but that doesn't really matter when a year later it'll just peel off and you can never buy one again. As a huge fan of CS:GO, the Steam Controller, and Valve as a whole, I'm pretty disappointed that a piece that has somewhat become a collectors item for me is now falling apart barely over a year of use (to be clear, the controller itself is fine). Again, I can't replace this skin now and I'm pretty heartbroken about that.I'm fairly certain nobody can buy these at the time of writing, so really there are only 2 reasons I'm writing this review: to inform people potentially buying from 3rd party resellers and to hopefully bring these issues to the attention of Valve. I'm fairly certain Valve will eventually make a second iteration of the Steam Controller (especially after seeing them double down on the use of touchpads with the Steam Deck), so I really want them to get the skins right with that one. The Steam Controller is my favorite controller and the CS:GO skin makes it so much cooler. It makes me really sad knowing that my days with what remains of this skin are numbered and quickly coming to an end.

The skin is alright, however it can take a bit of time to apply properly and it does feel like it's going to scratch away with time. It really isn't anything beyond a glorified sticker, but it does help in giving your Steam Controller a more desirable aesthetic.

This looks great on my son's Steam Controller. He put it on his controller before I could intervene, so there are a few small lines where the skin didn't get placed perfectly-but all in all I think it makes an already cool controller look even better!

My biggest issue with the steam controller is that if you have more than one. Picking up the wrong on can mess up your game. Installing a controller skin is a good way to avoid this.It was a breeze to put on and to stock images don't do it justice. Relatively easy to put on (took me roughly 5 min) and even if you put it in the wrong spot you can still adjust a bit, the material is stretchy. Looks very nice, though I do not like Wheatley's eye on the back particularly much(which I knew was there when I purchased).

Looks real nice, not too easy to stick on properly but luckily you can remove and re-apply.
