Works great.
I got these for my guinea pig to chew on instead of the traditional colored pieces of wood. I wanted something natural without dyes or glues. They come with holes drilled in them. I put it on a Kaytee Ka-Bob and hung in cage. Works great.

Dry and splintery.
SO DISAPPOINTED. These are all dry and splintery, dangerous for my guinea pig who normally loves to munch the bark off of these sticks. I think the source must have been damaged or diseased or these have experienced water damage--something. At first I threw away a few but then noticed they were ALL like that. Will not be purchasing these ever again online where I can not visually inspect before the purchase.

Chinchilla loves apple wood
My chinchilla nephew loves apple wood, and he loves chewing the bark off of these. He's a little picky; he doesn't always go for things like willow, pumice, or colorful flavored sticks from the pet store. It's fun when you find something they like, and these ship quickly with Amazon Prime.

great for teeth
I bought these for my chinchillas because their teeth constantly grow and they need to chew to keep them down. They really enjoy when I put a few of these in their cages. Would recommend to anyone who has animals that like to chew

Great product, although our rabbits rejected it. They might like it later. You can never tell with rabbits.
