Success isn't given, it's earned...
I preordered this book after seeing it the May copy of Kirkus Magazine. I received it a couple of days ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. Entrepreneurs are faced with some very difficult circumstances in today's world. This book addresses eleven principles of success that every adult, young or old, needs to consider and apply to many aspects of life. The author goes deeply into the subject matter while keeping it light, fun, and easy to read. It's a book of instruction, yes, but it's also a book that offers hope. The book young’s protagonist, Ty, didn't fall into success; he earned it every step of the way, even when it felt like nothing was going right. One of the first things that really stood out to me very early in the book was a conversation with a bank teller who told him he should be depositing into his savings instead of withdrawing, and his reply included the words, "investment in myself."In addition, the questions and answers in the book are in an interview-style format. They help solidify the eleven principles that Deep Patel outlines throughout the book.I love this book and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for success in some aspect of their life.

Good book.
In my opinion it’s a little drawn out in detail but good for new concepts to new people.

A Guidebook to Financial Success
"A Paperboy’s Fable" is a comprehensive guide to entrepreneurship and is a must-read for anyone who is looking for a new direction in their business lives. Deep K. Patel has created a guide to success in the form of a fable that chronicles the live of a simple paperboy, Ty Chandler. Using tried and true business principles, Patel adds a new spin. The results are revolutionary methods of creating successful startups. With interviews with notable professionals in their respective fields, such as CEO’s and even military generals, Patel provides 11 Principles of Success which are invaluable lesson interwoven with Ty’s engrossing story. This is frankly, a wonderful way of presenting business strategies in an interesting and easy-to-read-and-retain manner. In addition to the business acumen at such an early age, Mr. Patel has a gift of writing interesting narratives. I was hooked from the very first chapter and an eager to apply some of these principles to my own professional life. I can’t recommend this book enough to anyone who is searching for a better path to business prosperity.

Great read
I was pleasantly surprised by thus one. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I liked the idea that it included personal accounts, which made it more than just a learning tool, but also a bit of a story, and don't we all have a story? So I felt I could relate to the author, and that made the advice seem more "real." There's some valuable lessons to be learned in the anecdotes as well, especially as it relates to building a report with customers. I never would have thought the author's story would lead to a future in small business, but I think it goes to show that success is a personal journey that is more about what you do where you are and how you use that to get where you are going (rather than simply focusing on where you are at currently). I recommend this for anyone starting their own business.

Entrepreneurship explained simply
This book has two parts. The author has done a great job with both. First part is the story. The book is worth just for this. The story broken into 11 chapters highlights key aspects of starting, running and growing a business. The second part is about interviews. The intent is to bring real life feel to the book. But in many ways it falls short. Hard to complete with so much content out there. E.g. podcast “How I Built This”. In summary buy this book and just read the first part.
