A very stylish watch, sober in design and light on the wrist. The size of the watch is sensible, not too small and not too big. It is only about half an inch of depth and two and a half inch wide. Mind that the bracelet is not easy to adapt especially if not in possession of the appropriate tool. The Eco-drive Stiletto works on Light-power, 11 hours of sunlight recharges the battery for a full year (2minutes for a day!), of course household light also recharges the battery, but it is less effective. The battery system is said to last a lifetime! The watch is precise and I have not noticed any change in the time compared to my other very reliable battery-powered Tissot watch. The dark side of this watch is its absence of any fluorescent tips to read time at night, nor any hand for seconds (the minutes' hand moves every 4 seconds). The rather poor contrast of the hands can make it difficult to read in unlit environment. Apart from this I am very glad I bought it. It is different from other watches, original and innovative in its concept and sets you apart from the crowd. The sobriety, stylishness and lightness were what I was looking for. Furthermore, the price is rather attractive, being affordable compared to other very expensive watches. Unfortunately it can only be purchased in the US, so consider VAT+shipping (40 dollars for shipping plus 70 dollars for VAT; I bought it from Switzerland, other countries'VAT might vary, check before you order!). A reliable and interesting watch that makes a statement on environmental and fashion issues... Thank you for reading my review.

Understated, Reliable Elegance
If you're reading reviews I'm guessing this watch instantly appealed to you. With its "love it or hate it" style, the watch has that effect. As advertised, it truely is black on black on black...on black. The hands and hour marks are polished against the matte face, so they do catch light and make it possible to tell time as long as there's a nearby light source. If it's dark, then just forget about it and pull out your phone.The watch is very light and very thin, while still being large enough to maintain a masculine look. The band is smooth and articulates well so the watch comfortably conforms to the wrist and not the other way around. It's one of the few watches I've worn that I've actually forgotten I was wearing. The clasp seems solid and the jeweling is a nice little touch. After a few weeks I've yet to see any signs of wear.As to the watch's performance, it's a Citizen Eco-Drive. Not much else to say. It keeps time flawlessly and never needs batteries, it just goes and goes. My Eco-Drives have spoiled me to the point that I probably couldn't own a watch that isn't self-powered. They accurately and unendingly function and I recommend them whenever I get the chance. So, if the style caught your eye, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

Looks yeeting
It’s really nice, very sleek and looks expensive and sexy!! The time is kinda hard to see sometimes but it’s not really a problem, my problem is that the band doesn’t use half links so when you get the watch adjusted it’s probably gonna be a little too tight (this type will pop open and the watch will fall off be careful if you like it tight!) or a little too loose.

The tough choice.
I like to look good. Who doesn't. However, I tend to be very picky when it comes to what I wear. When I bought this watch I was very skeptical. People's reviews about how they couldn't read the watch and how unpractical it was made me nervous, but I don't like the large faces on watches that are becoming ever more popular so I bought it. When it arrived in the mail I could not have been more happy with my choice. The watch is amazing, It was exactly what I was hoping for. It's slim without being feminine, lightweight without looking cheap and even though it looks subtle it is everything but. It looks just as great in formal wear as in semi-formal wear. As for not being able to read the time, I have hardly ever had an issue. The only place I can't see the time is in certain clubs at night, and even then all I had to do was catch the light right. This watch is by far the best accessory I own to the point where if this watch ever got lost or stolen I would simply buy another one.

This is my second CM Stiletto after an unfortunate incident with my first, and it is absolutely worth it.I initially found Citizen Men's after looking at Movado watches. The CM Axiom

grabbed my attention as it is very similar to the Movado Sapphire Black PVD-finish watch, but with a much prettier price tag.After looking around, I found this watch; the black on black on black immediately stood out to me, but I was on the fence about getting what I originally wanted, or take a gamble with this one. I decided to try the Stiletto first, and once I actually put it on, I knew there was no contest. The Stiletto is elegant, works for any occasion, doesn't follow the oversized-watch trend so ubiquitous today, and just looks damn good overall. I didn't care for the Eco-Drive but after almost a combined year of ownership, I've come to appreciate the fact that I'll never have to replace the batteries on this.There are no real downsides to this watch, but like others have already said, it can be a bit hard to tell the time at times. I've learned to just tilt the face a couple degrees which completely fixes that problem for me. That being said, if it's night time and you aren't near a light source you're SOL, but I don't think anyone buying this watch can say it's for practicality. A little date-ticker would have been an incredibly useful addition (and kind of why I wanted the axiom), but I can see how that might clash with the monolithic layers of black.Some have pointed out that the black coating has chipped away on theirs. Mine has yet to show any signs of wear and tear, despite being my daily driver that I'm not to kind to. I've even showered with it on a few times in drunken stupors, and it's still working perfectly.

Lovely looking dress watch, well made
What a beautiful looking watch. Very well made, it is very very thin, take three 1p coins and stack them, and that is how thick it is. Obviously there are no luminous hands etc, so it really is a dress watch and you will not be able to see it in the dark or if the lighting is poor. Because of the slightly angled hands and hour markers though, I realised that if you turn it round your wrist slightly as you're looking, you'll get reflections off lights to be able to see the time easier. It is well made, the strap is secure and comfortable once you've taken out the right number of links, and it's fully waterproof. I wore it every day for almost 3 years (until switching to a smart watch) and never took it off.As it's solar powered, you don't need to change the battery either.

Super thin, neat bracelet and altogether a different watch than the norm!
Wow. Looks amazing. Super thin and black as night. That's black as night...strap, dial and hands! Wait a minute?! We'll I would if I could see the hands!! It's all black!!Yes, you can just about make out the time but it's not instant! A couple of florescent dots at the end of the hands would have turned this four star review into a perfect five!!ADDITIONAL EDIT:The beautiful strap needs to be mentioned! Superb design that becomes a seamless band when on the wrist. Neat and unobtrusive (but looks good!). Considering the whole watch costs less than the Apple metal linked strap…this watch is a bargain and the strap is better than the Apple watch strap! And yes it's a black face…but it's different!
