I'm 5'-11" and the seat is comfortable for me with plenty of adjustment available for someone ...
We've had this seat for 5-months now and no complaints. My youngest son is about 4'-8" and he can use the seat with everything adjusted to the minimum. I'm 5'-11" and the seat is comfortable for me with plenty of adjustment available for someone taller. The seat and wheel 'podium' are stable and we've had no issues there (if you really crank on them they'll move but I never have to use that much force when playing a driving game - no adverse affect on gameplay.) We have a Thrustaster TMX and the pedals mount perfectly - you'll just need to supply the two screws.Assembly took ~50min with basic hand tools and not much difficulty - I have average mechanical ability. I bought a 6mm long t-handle wrench to adjust the pedal board since my youngest likes it in the highest position and my oldest likes it around half-way.Overall a great racing seat - comfortable and plenty of adjustment if needed. A+++

Needs a fair amount of work
I have been using this seat for about a week now, and there are some serious issues. The center frame where the steering wheel attaches is too weak and wobbles quite a bit, as I mentioned in an earlier post. Also the back of the seat twists quite a bit while in use which is quite annoying. I am 50/50 right now as to whether I return it or not.

You get what you pay for
There are too many fantastic reviews about this seat so let me even the score.Firstly, this seat and stand IS NOT PRE DRILLED FOR FANATEC GEAR! There are only 3 wheels on the market for current gen and Fanatec was not considered when making this seat. The gear shift is 100% incompatible and the pedals and wheel base had to be drilled. Second- if you want a sim racing experience, a bar between your legs and raised pedals is the opposite of what you're looking for.The seat itself is easy enough to put together and comes with all of the tools you need. My package unfortunately was missing a screw that was necessary to attach the seat warranting a trip to the hardware store. The screw was in a bag that came open in transit and found it's way out of the box.The seat itself only latches on the right hand side. The left hand side of the seat will be free flowing and move forwards and backwards ad much as the right hand side will let it.The bar that attaches the pedal stand stops before reaching the pedals leaving you with 1/8th inch aluminum to hold your pedals in place. Mine bent the first use of the brakes. See the attached picture. The bar that holds the wheel upright is supported by a 12 inch base resulting in an excessive amount of sway to the left and right of a force feedback wheel when in use.Overall I would not cheap out again on buying this stand for a simulation experience. It has no qualities of simulation in regards to positioning, no quality in regards to production, and no return/resale value once modified, which it will need to accommodate even the slightest form of comfort or simulation.

... it's now impossible for me to play I'm extremely disappointed and spent a lot of money to get the ...
first of all the nut that was welded on didn't line up with the hole for the adjustable knob to screw through so I had to drill it out to make it fit and almost wrecked the threds doubt it then not even 24 hours after getting my setup mounted onto the chair the mount has already broke the weld has snapped on the bar that holds the wheel in place so it's now impossible for me to play I'm extremely disappointed and spent a lot of money to get the chair and wheel set up with the shifter now the next day it's already broken this was a massive let down

Holes for screws didn't match up
The holes on the pedal mount did not match up with the holes on the bar to attach it to thus being unable to screw together. I contacted them and they sent me a replacement mount however- the issue was not the piece that the pedals connect to its the bar that the pedal mount piece attaches to; the holes were too close together. Had they looked at the photos correctly the first time they probably would have known that. I then sent them another picture of the holes on both parts using a measuring tape so they can see which part was the issue. They finally then sent me a new bar and new pedal mount and they said that they made sure the holes matched up first. So if you place an order and have an issue where the holes don't match up just make sure you take a picture of everything measured so they understand what needs to be replaced. 2 wasted parts later- The pieces finally did match up and everything is working great now and my fiance is happy!

Just Like a Real Car
Assembly took a few hours. When it was together and the shifter and steering wheel was attached it was ready to go. The seat beckons you. It is adjustable just like a car seat, rear, forward, and the backrest adjusts back and forth. It is very sturdy and well made. It will not tip over. If you enjoy racing games this is the set up for you. It is a heavy box to carry. Picture above is the seat and stand as well as the not included steering wheel, shifter, and pedals.

Best I've seen in this price range.
It certainly is better quality than anything else in the price range, and the only one that I could find that had an actual normal size car seat instead of a mini version. Keep in mind that it doesn't fit a small child well at all... About 10 years old would probably be the minimum age if using pedals. The one-sided slider is ridiculous- but being a full size seat, I can change the slide rails for some cheap off brand regular ones for $20 and I certainly will.I thought there were two missing bolts, so went to the hardware store and bought new ones. During assembly, the two missing ones were found jammed up inside the sliders and were easily shaken free. Oh well.
