Nice looking machine, seems to do the work, cleans the air and it’s not too noisy. The filters are less expensive than similar price machines. Will update my review in the future.

Easy to use and set up

After moving to the South and dealing with new allergies it was time to declare "War on Dust". We were constantly having allergy related breathing issues that were occurring mostly in the PM. After overhauling our house in terms of making changes to eliminate dust and allergens, the Alen was the final step in the process. Our bedroom now feels like a really expensive hotel with this delightfully clean and soft air. It is so soothing to have this unit next to the bed putting clean air into the room. And while a bit big, it is very modern looking. Do not simply think you can put one of these in your house and be done with the problem. We made a lot of additional changes to our place prior to making this expensive purchase (bought a HEPA vacuum, hypo-allergenic bedding, steam cleaned carpets, professional cleaning company did a deep clean to whole house, and HEPA air conditioning filter). Even our one cat that suffers from asthma was no longer having breathing issues after getting this unit. I love how there is an automatic setting that adjusts to the air quality. I mostly like it on the highest setting when we are home, but I put it on automatic when we go to work. You will not regret buying this and we don't think we could ever live without this unit.

Extremely happy with this filter. Used it for the past month + and it does a great job of filtering the air in the space. I bought the biggest size possible with the best filter to clean everything possible out of the air and I set it on ionize and the air rom it just feels so fresh.The noise level is not too loud for me even on high. The benefits way out way the noise level. I have 300 sq ft do it and it will filter from a red down to a blue in about an hour. If I open the doors and windows to the space it will run red in just a few minutes and then it takes time to cycle the air once I close it up. Occasionally it will turn red even when the place is closed up and then it will filter down. Around 3 or 4 in the afternoon I turn it all the way up and it seems to take the fog off the place and my allergies calm down.Love this definitely recommend and will be buying one for another family member with allergies.

We keep it in our bedroom and it has reduced the amount of dust that settles on surfaces.It is loud, but it has a large fan to move a lot of air which is what it is supposed to do (and what you want it to do, it's an air purifier). You can't make fans that quiet without getting really costly. But thankfully you can set a timer for when you sleep or lower the fan speed to make it even more quiet.We have a few cats and we have to remove the front panel (super easy to do, bottom is held in with magnets) to clean the cat hair out of the pre filter. It's kinda annoying because we need to do this once a week. But we also have hardwood floors so it's expected.It's reduced my boyfriends reaction to allergies significantly, the filter lasts 6-8 months which is good cause some of them are $70 and up.One last thing, it has a feature that turns off the LED panel at night since it's so bright it can illuminate the entire bedroom. This is good because the purifier will still run and the light panel will be off.All in all a great purchase. A bit pricey but worth it in the end.
