Trafalgar Men's Cortina Wallet / Hipster

I have always used a tri-fold but am looking for something less bulky. I first ordered the slim fold version of this wallet but was too small. The hipster is a little bigger than I need, but it feels great in my back pocket.Inside, the cards are so spread out it makes the wallet thin. It is wider across than most wallets (at 4" X 4.5"), but the extra width is barely noticeable in my back pocket, and I am not sitting on a big lump like the tri-folds. Plus, the extra width keeps the wallet straight in my pocket. The tri-folds tend to turn sideways sometimes.The Cortina leather is very nice, and the lining is high quality leather, not cheap nylon like I found in other brands such as Bosca. The stitching looks good and I expect this wallet to last for many years. It is such high quality with so many credit card slots that I feel a bit bourgeoisie when I pull it out, but I think I can get used to it.The card slots are deep, and the cards seem a bit far down and difficult to grab at first, but the leather loosens up quickly and I like the cards being further down in the slots. The bill compartment is very deep, which is nice.After looking at every wallet known to humankind in the under $100 price range I recommend the Trafalgar hipster. I could not find any wallets made in the U.S. or Europe. The Trafalgar wallets are made in India, whereas all the other wallets I looked at were made in China. The hipster is an excellent wallet for the money.

I have used a tri-fold wallet for a very long time, but finally got tired of the lump it created in my back pocket. I looked at several high capacity wallets, including  Osgoode Marley Twelve Pocket Hipster (One Size, Brandy) , LifeTek Mens Leather BiFold Credit Card Wallet with Removable ID Pass Case (Black) , and some cheap versions, but opted for this one.While the leather is rather stiff and shiny (I was hoping for a bit softer leather), the construction is very nice. The leather is thicker than I expected, but once loaded with 10 credit cards, my license inside the inner pocket, and a small stack of bills in the money slot, it was about 3/4 of an inch thick. Not a thin as I had hoped, but once I tried it in a pair of jeans and a pair of Dockers  Dockers Men's Signature Khaki Slim Flat Front Stretch Pant, Dark Pebble , 28X28 , I found it fit both pants' back pockets almost perfectly.In sum, the thicker leather and quality construction will probably make this a long lasting wallet. Placed where it belongs, it is comfortable to sit on and fits snugly. I also love the saddle brown color I received.

Craftsmanship is precise, with stitching tight and clean. Has that machine produced quality from a manufacturing company where they have quality checks. No human error here. The leather has a high polished finish, very smooth and slick with a texture of a polished tile surface. This is a tighter fit in a front pocket. It's on the low end of a larger wallet or high end of a medium sized, however you want to view it. Five card slots on each side, total of 10 slots that are a nice size to fit larger plastic, those items a bit larger than a credit card. Two larger compartments behind the card slots, one on each side. These are spacious and deep, extending to the edge of the stitching. Money compartment is wide and has smooth edges, nothing to snag when removing bills or documents. The color of my purchase was far off from the picture. It's a deep red. It's not unbearable, just isn't what I expected.

Purchased this wallet to replace a Tumi Center Flip ID wallet that I have had for several years and I couldn't be happier. I wanted a wallet that was a little larger in length and width, but not in thickness. This one definitely delivers and fits in all of my pants' pockets. I like the 5 card slots on each side (10 total) and they hold all of my cards/IDs very well. The slots are a little deeper than some wallets, but it doesn't bother me. I also like the quality of this wallet. You can tell this brand pays close attention to detail and it should hold up for a long time. Finally, for those people who are a little stand offish because of the price, don't be. You are getting a great wallet and won't be disappointed.

This wallet was the right size for me. I wanted a slightly larger wallet, so that hopefully it wouldn't be so thick. I was trying to replace my old one for the longest time, but all the ones in the stores were smaller. This one was just right for me. It seems well-built. I was hoping it would have a divider in the main compartment, but otherwise it had all the features I wanted. Something simple, not gimmicky, no plastic parts to get old and cracked, credit card slots on both sides of a bi-fold wallet.

I was worried that this might be too big for some pants. It is a tiny bit tight in a few... relative to an average-sized wallet. OTOH, it ends up being thinner.The size does not bother me. What is COOL about the wallet is there is more room for larger bills or pieces of paper ( like some receipts) without having to fold them so they don't stick out and it can hold many credit cards without making for a fat wallet like a tri-fold or winged wallet can do. I keep my driver's license in one of the CC slots.It is well-made. A quality wallet.

Someone in a review here had used the word, "bourgeoise" while describing the feeling of pulling this wallet out in public, because of the size. So, I was a little concerned, but I'm a very big guy and it seemed like this would be a good fit, as I prefer larger wallet. Turns out, this wallet is a lot smaller than the wallet I already have. It seems like a nice wallet; well made, but it is a boy's wallet. I'll just keep it in the box and gift it to a little person or a regular sized man who likes little wallets.

The leather is definitely high quality. It was a little larger than my last wallet, but I'm getting used to it. I'm curious why they don't include an insert. This is an inexpensive item, that really adds to the capacity of the wallet - I had to buy one seperately.
