Got it for the LG G5 so that I can use to watch on a bigger screen. I cancelled my TV and internet so that I can use my unlimited data plan to stream videos and an HD antenna for TV. With this adapter it works for any App you want to display on the TV or monitor. It even supports 60fps on YouTube. Only issue with this adapter is in the initial connection which sometimes does not work until several tries but once connected it works fine. Also you cannot charge but I if you have a phone with removable battery it is less of an issue.

Works well with my HTC 10 phone. My TV is an LG, but not a smart TV. Agree with other posters that it should have a charging port. Otherwise, it's perfect. Works with both my cheap hdmi and my more expensive shorter hdmi.

This thing works perfectly but loses a star for not having a USB-C charging port on it, so if you watch TV with this adapter you will be unplugging the phone from it to charge after every movie. On the other hand, it really does work excellently at getting my phone on the TV screen.

Package was ok. Device looked solid, but the side was a bit bent. Plugged in, but did not work. Just a high pitch keening noise coming from it. I ordered a replacement. It sucks to pay extra for quick shipping only to recieve a broken device. I will change my review when I get a working adapter.

It Works Great When It Wants To Work. I'm not Sure If It's The HDMI cables that I have or the adapter itself. It keeps cutting off every once in a while, it gets frustrating whenever I try to watch a movie.

It really is idiot proof and does the job it was intended to do. It is true it doesn't charge the phone but if you want almost no lag and a clear display this is your best bet.

Works amazingly well with my LG V20, just plug and play. Combined with a HDMI to VGA converter allows you to output to everything. I'm successfully using it for presentations with data show.Awesome built quality.

Have had this for over 7 months. This works okay with my HTC 10 and LG TV. The issue comes when trying to output video on my 4k LG TV. It has a vertical line in the middle of the image, and colors are on the blue end of the spectrum. Also, TV will sometimes say device is not detected. I have tried all HDMI ports on the TV and all have the same issue. Also tried on a friends 4k TV and had same problem. However, the adapter does work fine on my 1080p LG TV. Also, no separate charging port to charge the phone while outputting video at the same time. Considering I bought this for 4k output, I am pretty disappointing. The 1080p adapter I used to have was much more reliable.
