Works for cyanotypes - 50w 365nm
Used this lamp to make a uv light box for cyanotype printing without having to rely on sunlight and it works great.I wasn’t sure which option to go for between 50w or 100w but I did a quick test exposing one half of a print for 10 mins and the other for 5 mins from a distance of around 15cm and the print came out the same on both sides. So 50w is plenty powerful to expose a print in 5 mins or less.It came with a UK plug despite the images shown in the listing.

Perfect
Cable very thick but the light is bright, can't fault it for brightness.

Does the job....
Used to cure resin, device does the job nicely. Power lead is rather thick and sometimes gets in the way, and the switch is not really in the right place for my liking. But it's fair value for money. Size of the LEDs are adequate.

365nm 50W is great for cyanotypes
I used the 365nm 50W to make a4 cyanotypes.I set it up on an old desk lamp arm about 20cm above the paper.Holding down the paper with a sheet of acrylic I got developing times over 30mins, but I switched to glass and this works much better at around 10mins, even with double-coated paper. My biggest print so far has been a 20x60cm panorama which I exposed from about 30cm and got an evenly exposed print. I think the larger 100W lamp will be the way to go for quick prints bigger than A3.Other reviews complain that it gets hot. Yes, it does, but it's designed to dissipate heat and will cook cyanotypes happily all day if given ventilation. Mounted properly it doesn't even need to be touched.I've also seen complains that it's underpowered, but I've managed to make cyanotypes in under ten minutes so I can't concur. It might be a case of using the wrong material to cover the print during exposure.I'm really pleased with this purchase. It came with a UK plug, was easy to mount safely to avoid touching the hot lamp and the UV-A is relatively safe. And I'm getting really nice cyanotypes at a nice quick rate.

Ineffective when used for curing
Tried the 365nm model for uv curing NOA68 optical adhesive 350 to 380nm. Had negligible effect after 30 minutes at one inch distance.High pressure Mercury lamps are probably the way to go.

Works But Not How I'd Like It To
This UV light works but for my purpose, it is quite poor compared to my handheld torch when shining on my UV reactive crystals.

so far so good
Bought this to put next to the fish tank on a timer to provide a sterilisation cycle once a day and works perfectly , solidly made

Very durable and very high quality light emission
The media could not be loaded. works like a charm on UV artwork and glow in the dark items. I definitely recommend 365nm definitely makes UV pop. I have the 50w one and it works quite well not sure if i need the 100W one yet but might pick one up if i get another tapestry.Accidently I dropped the backlight from 3 feet and it fell face first and the screen was protected by its metal frame , miraculously not even a single scratch on the LCD!

VERY Bright Reactivity!
I bought this light for my son's room to activate fluorescent tapestries and stick on stars. It works REALLY well in a 130sqf room and I suspect it would work just as well in a room more than twice this size. If you are looking for true UV with very little visible light (at 365nm like the description says for this product) then you would probably want to get a different product because this one emits a lot of visible light. You can see evidence of the visible light in one of the pictures above that shows my hand's shadow cast upon the wall. I suspect the reason for this is the bluish white outline of the 365nm LEDs plus the fact that they're not filtered. However, if you simply want to activate fluorescents at their brightest then this unit is the ticket! The casing is well-built and heavy. The heat sink on the back is mostly the culprit for the weight but definitely a necessity because this bad boy gets rather hot! I would be mindful of where you mount it because of this. Overall I really like this product and am glad I did some research to find it for my purposes. You won't regret this purchase!

Fonctionne très bien mais petit
J'ai été surpris par la petitesse de la lampe mais pour certain petit travaux de sérigraphie ça fonctionne bien.
