Lots of protectors on the market, but this is hands down the best!
This is not just another screen protector. If you want to keep your phone protected and scratch free and don't want the hard plastic things that make your phone look like a kid's toy, covered in scratches and prone to hazing and yellowing, you must buy the ArmorSuit Military Shield. Hands down this is the best investment you can make to protect your phone's screen.I have one on my Nokia 1020 (and a Nokia 735, iPhone 5, Galaxy 6s, 6s Active and two Kindle Fire's). Once I bought my first ArmorSuit and saw how it protected the screen with it's self repairing membrane I bought one for every device in the house. OK, so a major tear will not magically repair itself but small scratches and pokes that would have left a permanent mark on any screen and all of the cheap disposable screen protectors will generally just fade away. I've laid it on rough surfaces without thinking, sure it was sliced beyond repair and two or three days later the scratches were well on their way to disappearing. The FUBAR that made me a true believer was the day about a year after installing the protector I had my phone in my pocket and without thinking stuck a screwdriver into my pocket, I could feel the resistance as the screwdriver scraped against the screen, slowly at first, but then it slid right in. I was certain I had dug a hole in the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield and likely through the screen of my phone. I took the phone out of my pocket and there was a huge wrinkle in the middle of the screen where the protector has bunched up and pulled down. I took a deep breath, peeled off the ArmorSuit and the only damage was to the screen protector, the screen itself was like the day I took the phone out of the box. I immediately ordered another ArmorSuit for my phone. Now every portable device with a screen in my house gets this protection, not the cheapest, but well worth the investment. The screen protector is perfectly clear once applied and is custom fit for each device. It hides most fingerprints, only the greasiest of paw prints will leave a mark, and these wipe off simply with any cloth or soft napkin you have around, so there is no need to constantly wipe the screen off. The one I had on my phone for a year never yellowed or peeled (until I attacked it with the screwdriver). But most importantly, unlike other screen protectors there is no decrease in touch screen sensitivity, if anything it may even enhance it. The tactile feel of the membrane material feels better and a bit more assertive than a glass screen. When you open the box the screen protector is in an envelope with directions telling you to go to their website to watch the installation video, some may find that intimidating and wonder what they got themselves into. If that is the case, stop, take a deep breath and watch the video. It is as easy to install as they demonstrate, but for a crystal clear, perfect installation, watch it. Wash your hands, and do it in as dust free an environment as you can find and just follow the instructions.Speaking of instructions, I placed it on my tablet and phones just before bed and used the phone a few hours later in the morning, I never waited more than six or seven hours. But I always waited at least 24 hours before putting a case on the device to make sure it would not peel up the screen protector (I made that mistake once, you can peel it off and reapply it but only if no dust has gotten stuck on the adhesive side of the protector).Pros:crystal cleardoesn't crackno loss of touch screen sensitivity (may even enhance it)nice feel, I prefer it to glassconceals fingerprintscan take a fair amount of abuse (I am not advising to test it to the limits)works with every case I've tried it withCons:Not for people who don't like to read directions. It is very easy to apply following the simple directions, but that means following directions.

Excellent Shield, be clear on the directions - advice added here.
This product gets a 5 even though I had some trouble the first time installing the shield. It is also not 100% invisible, but it is great protection that makes up for it. If you want invisible protection, you may want to just give up the protection.Let me start by saying be ready to install this correctly and patiently... it will pay off.1) Have a clean, very well lit area to install... (light enough to see dust specs on the phone.)2) If you need glasses at all, PUT THEM ON. You absolutely must see the edges and the dust.3) Watch the video4) Do not worry about using the spray sparingly... use plenty of it.5) Watch the video before installing, it will clear up any misconceptions.6) You must make sure the phone is pristine clean and there is not a lot of dust to fall back on the phone before the shield is in place.Be sure to put enough spray so the shield will slide easily at first, to where you want it to sit. Keep your fingers WET.If there are problems, just peel it back up and reapply more spray.*** Most importantly... I used the rubber squeegee while the shield was very wet, even sprayed it after the first three times... but then wrapped it in the cloth as soon as the first few squeegees and the shield started to stick to the phone. The squeegee will leave marks on the shield if it is not very wet on top!Again, do not use the squeegee unless there is plenty of the spray on the surface or it will mar the shield. ***The shield was precision cut, there is very little room for play and it must be positioned correctly (even with my glasses on it is very hard to see where the shield stops and the glass starts. Seriously, about impossible!) The Shield has done it's job for me and saved my screen a few times. This is an expensive phone and I really appreciate it.Armor Suit also guarantees the shield. Any problems and they will send a replacement with out hassle.I like to put my phone in my pocket, and it has met with glasses and keys on rare occasion. The screen is fine though. It is a little tricky to install, but patience and observation will get you there. Because you can rewet it and start over (assuming you do not get dust in there) you can try again if it is not perfect at first.Be sure to get the edges on the glass and not overhanging or you will be severely disappointed when they start to peel up.

A solid product from a good company.
ArmorSuit must have heard the masses clamoring for more clear instructions as they've posted youtube videos to walk you through the process. My box didn't even have written instructions with it so I could have been in trouble if I didn't have internet access. The product itself is unique as it has a softer texture to it than typical sticky screen protectors. It has picked up indentations from rough textures I set the phone on, or a key in the same pocket, but it evened back out over the course of the day; I imagine this is what the company refers to as "self-healing". I've had the protector on my Lumia 1020 for about a month now, and I enjoy the slightly rubbery feel the protector gives to the screen. I am moving to the 1020 from an e7 and initially missed my physical keyboard. The texture of this protector made touchscreen typing much more precise for me. Note to others: there is a separate product called "carbon fiber" or something to that effect that covers the back of the phone and seems to have a piece to protect the protruding camera lens. I didn't realize this when I ordered (plus I didn't know anything about the company), so I didn't order the carbon fiber product. After having the phone for a bit, I would also recommend the back/camera protector. I have the phone in a poetic case, but the lens stays exposed. I did have some questions during installation (there's a random cut-out on the protector that didn't seem to match any lenses, etc); the company responded very quickly to my queries and explained that the cut out is actually for a sensor that is behind the touchscreen.
